August 04, 2004 - Nintendo has unveiled another super mega ultra oh-my-god bonus for members of its Club Nintendo rewards program over in Japan. Soon to join the red-colored limited edition Mario GameCube controller is a green-colored limited edition Luigi color. The Luigi controller resembles the Mario controller in style, with two solid colors. As with the Mario controller, blue forms the backing of the Luigi controller. The front, however, is, as one would expect, green. In place of Mario's hat symbol, the Luigi controller has a green L to show that it really is Luigi's controller. The controller requires 500 points, meaning one could earn enough for it with eight and a half GameCube games.

Why don't they sell these here, they'd make a ton of money. Instead we get the spice colored controller, oooooh.

I would like a Link controller, but make sure it's Wavebird. Nitendo's spoiled me with that wireless thing.

The real question is why don't Americans get a Club Nintendo? It really doesn't make sense. I feel like gamers would than be inspired to buy more crappy Gamecube games just to get the freebies....Someone really oughta petition this...maybe I'll do something...*looks around*...well actually I'm a little lazy.

"PRODUCT: Paper Mario Popup Book

OBTAINED: Bonus in Septeber 2004 Famitsu Cube + Advance.

OUR OPINION: Uh-oh! Famitsu Cube + Advance came through with a double whammy this month. Hidden away in the magazine (well, at least we didn't notice it clearly promoted on the cover) is this popup book for Paper Mario RPG. Actually, the magazine doesn't include a full popup book. What you get is a three page, full color booklet and two sheets containing parts that you're supposed to use to populate the first page of the book. The parts for pages two and three will be included in the next issue of the magazine.

It took us a bit of time to assemble the first page, but it was definitely worth it. The artwork preserves the theme of Paper Mario RPG and actually has an interactive element that lets you make Mario jump by pushing down a lever"
