So now that I've run out of interviews that I've done at local conventions, I'd like to see who you guys would want to see interviewed. However, there's a twist, so please read.

There is no way in hell I can get anybody that the majority have heard from. Don't waste your time suggesting John Carmack, CliffyB, anyone like that. What I'm mostly looking for are smaller, lesser known projects. Independant projects preferably, much like the Star Wars: Combine (http://www.starwarscombine.com) interview I did a few weeks ago. But even a team that's making a very unique mod can be considered as well, however they must have something already released or very very close to being released. I don't want to waste my time with vaporware.

This also extends to homebrew from the Atari 2600 to the PSP and everywhere in between, but I'm not exactly interested in people making emulators.

Post in this thread if you have any legitemate suggestions. Like I said, no big name people that have games published by big publishers because you can get those interviews many other places and they'd most likely just give the same speech to us that they've given to other media outlets.

I've got a few in mind already, one of which was discussed in a thread over in Gaming News.

I seem to remember at least one or two of the guys from the development house that made The Suffering (sorry, can't be bothered with the two seconds it'd take to Google that :P) coming around the G4 boards after the last game was released. Maybe you could snag one of them for an interview?

I haven't picked up the sequel quite yet, but it's my next purchase. I was a big fan of the first one...creepy, trippy stuff.

EDIT: Surreal Software...here's their number, just in case: (206) 587-0505. Just wish I could remember that guy's name...

EDIT #2: Chris Johnson :D (SurrealChris over on the other boards)

EDIT #3: "Like I said, no big name people that have games published by big publishers because you can get those interviews many other places and they'd most likely just give the same speech to us that they've given to other media outlets." - Proof that I do not read threads before replying to them?

Yes. Yes it is. :)

i would like to see you have a 360 discussion, or next-gen consoles, with other gaming reviewers, like people from G4, gamespot, agn, 1up, and of course yourself, i think that would be tight!!!!!!

Would Seanbaby be hard to get for an interview? That'd be awesome on the show.

Oh fuck, that would rule. If Blackwolf could do that, he'd be god.

If not an interview, at least record a phone call with him.

On second thought, don't because you'd have to tell him you were recording him otherwise he'd actually have a legitimate case for once.

I don't honestly think I can land an interview with him, because he is not interested in talking to the "gamer" media. Also, he'd probably notice the "Douchebag of Miami" comments I made on the last show and will essentially threaten to sue me for that. I'd rather not deal with that crap.

Any phone interviews I do actually begin with a big ol' legal statement of me saying that I'm recording the call and that any portion may be broadcast over the Internet, and getting a verbal acceptance before we go into the interview. So I'm covered.

Penny-Arcade, talk about all the fun they have been having with Jack Thompson. They listen to podcasts, so perhaps they will give you a shot. You should have Scot ask them though.

How about the guys from S2 Games, the maker of Savage. Near as I can tell, they're an indie outfit.

In the same vein as PA, how about Scott Ransoomair from VG Cats..

Or maybe the guys that actually made that GTA mod for JT?
