View Full Version : All Games Interactive Part 2
Here is the second chunk. Remember this was a pilot that we are adding elements to. There will be more "segments" in the actual show as well as reports from people from different places. Oh and we may try and get Reffy and others a date.

man great show, i hope i get to listen to the whole show next week. This is the best thing since atari, this is way better that g4, the only show on that channel worth watching is your old show, keep up the good work. you are the only from that network who is unbiased and who keeps it real!!!!!!!!

You know Scot, I am really quite impressed with the show you did.
We didn't get to really hear it because of the buffering, but from what I heard it had a LOT of content and it was really done well. I am quite impressed.
Though I worry how you'll keep up the quality if this becomes a regular show. Is there really enough content out there to make the show continuously as entertaining?
All the best, regardless!
you sound like those executives in suits. Is there really enough content? I think that with the number of genres, platforms, industry events, and community efforts there is more than enough to fill a friday and saturday night show. I think if we include some live tournaments and tracking of other game competition we can build a solid block of content that will appeal to a wide audience.
Thanks for the feedback, i know you dont hand out compliments that often! Especially to me.
I'll be adding hours 2 and 3 tomorrow.
I caught the last 30 minutes of the show. I didn't even know it was you Scot hosting it. You sounded different (or it's just cause I haven't heard you in a while). Good show though! You had actual game industry people on which was way cool. So is this weekly like Blackwolfs show? or Montly?

BTW, when Scifi Friday is on (not until January) there IS good stuff on TV on Fridays. But I have TiVo.
Thought I'd throw that out. ;P

Well, being a pretty active member in the competitive gaming community, I can tell you what's going on and what it all means. It's actually really interesting, from what I can see, competitive gaming is bigger now than ever. While I don't really care for the counter strike scene (pissy teenagers, hacking, and just an overall bad attitude), other games like BF2 offer lots of opportunities for clans to exhibit strategy, tactics, leadership and twitch skill.
Oh and again, thanks for letting me on the air, it made my friday :).
As for content, you had SO much content it was just too much! I would have liked to have seen more in depth interviews that I just don't see happening much anymore. If you had 1/4 of that list and spent 4x as much time on each interviewer I think I would have been happier.

One thing I want to mention is more of a technical thing. Sometimes when Gringo is doing sfx (such as Taps) it's too loud and it's drowning out what you're saying. Turn down the volume on the sfx board. :>
-BW, who always hated the sfx board.
the sound mix wasnt optimal, we'll need to have that mixed properly for sure.
The interviews are tricky. We need to have interviews but take calls between me and the guest to keep the show moving and get some more voices in there to mix it up. We didnt have a lot of callers so it felt like some of the interviews went long. I also need to tighten up my questions so im not leading them in too many different directions. David and I never got to talk about TED.
FINALLY let me apologize for not including The host of the Bobby Blackwolf show because the streaming situation at the top put us behind time wise and cliffy was exhausted and hanging on hold so I kipped the opening segment that had Blackwolf. :(
I'd like to think he'll be a part of every show along with kropotkin and as many others of you that having something to contribute. Open Source Radio...thats what I envision.

I wouldn't worry about not including me this time around. ;P Things happen. Roll with it.

You COULD have people call in and ask a question to the person you're interviewing, or read questions from chat. <---- interactive :P
But that would mean you would have to get the stream working, which might be hard.

Cant wait for the other two hours to be posted online later on, I wonder, Those vintage ads we been hearing on the stream, Are those ads gonna be used for the actual show, Or they are just a placeholder for the real ads?

FYI, I'll be running both of these MP3 files leading up to Krop's news report and then my show tonight. So if you haven't downloaded them, feel free to tune in and listen to them on the stream...

But based on the conversations you had with your guests just shows the potential that a show like yours can have. I'm just sorry that my cell battery crapped out near the end while I was on hold.
