View Full Version : Why doesn't WWE like Ultimate Warrior?
I love him. He was a great performer and probably one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time.
Why does WWE decide to make a NEGATIVE DVD about him?
and WTF did I really just see Doink? Also, Conway ownz.

Because Warrior (yes, that's his legal name) wouldn't let Vince keep him close to the family, and Warrior (yes, that's still his LEGAL FUCKING NAME, he changed it) made something of himself without Vince's help. He also did not bend over backwards to appear on said DVD because WWE was slow in getting him the contracts to appear.
He's got a website that explains it all, he's actually quite nuts.

Yeah that guy's pretty whacked out of his gord. It should be pretty easy to see why Vince dosen't like 'em though. Vinny hates just about anyone that dosen't take the fat WWE prick up the backend.

Wasn't there rumors going around that he died of a crack overdose?

There were. The Von Erich that played him died, and his brother took his place.

Nope. (http://www.warriorwildness.com/FAQ.htm)
How many different people have played the character of the Ultimate Warrior?
Jim Hellwig is the only person to ever play the role of Ultimate Warrior. Over the years, Warrior has changed his look, body size and hair style, but it was always the same person beneath the face paint. There is a rurmour that in 1990/1991, Kerry Von Erich played the Warrior character as a one-off when the real Warrior couldnt make it to the arena on time. Take it with a pinch of salt though, as I cannot confirm that to be the truth.

Why does everyone hate him? They said he couldnt wrestle, but neither could Hogan, they said he couldnt do an interview, neither could Hogan. Yet Hogan is somehow still the "god" of wrestling. I for one was rooting for the Warrior at Wrestlemania VI. Hell, people still make a big deal about Hogan slamming Andre, but so did the Ultimate Warrior. What the fuck gives? Did he fuck Linda McMahon behind Vince's back?
Hulk Hogan is overraetd. God damn, he's when's his actual "last match"? He's had so many.

No, he just got pushed down our throats and emerged during a time when America needed an American hero. Warrior came around the early nineties when wrestling was starting to stagnate again.
Also, if you ask the common Mark if they liked him, you won't hear anything but good. It's the people who are in the know about him and his frequent not showing up for shows, leaving the company because he didn't want to be in a mid-card feud with Nailz and the fact that he's bat shit crazy that don't like him, even still there are a few that do. Marks like Warrior, but Vince wants to change that.
