Its mainly for network administrators and people on dial up, like you I will download it.

I ordered the first one back in February. I have DSL but the disc is really handy when I reformat every 4 months or so, plus fixing and building other computers, it's easier with the CD.

they are like a big update that includes many of the other updates that have been previously given out seperatly

I went to Microsoft site and just dled it since the auto-update didn't go through. It did take longer than I thought, but not to terrible. Wish I would have noticed this thread earlier, I would have got it on CD in a second.
