This is one of the best films I've seen this year, if not the best. Zach Braff does a simply amazing job as director and screenwriter, even more impressive is the fact that this is his debut as either of these, I love how he provides the film with beautiful and amazing imagery. The whole cast gives superb performances, the most noteworthy being Braff and co-star Natalie Portman. The characters feel real and like someone you can relate to. There has been some criticism of the ending, but I felt it felt natural and was fitting with the film. I have to admit I was holding back the tears at the end of the film. The film's soundtrack, handpicked by director Braff, is something that sets the film apart from most other films. This film shows Braff is definitely someone to watch, I have a feeling he will make or write some pretty impressive films. What the hell is he doing wasting his time on Scrubs?
