Well, On sites, it sais Sept 7th, but I could of sworn I heard Sept 29th on the commercial I just saw.

Is there going to be any type of updates to the games besides the obvious (graphics and color)? Is it going to have Pokemon from games like Ruby/Sapphire or anything?

I can't believe Pokemon is still going. I was in the 8th grade (13) when it came out and I had all the Pokemon stuff. Had Pokemon Red the day it came out, and played the card game, and watched the show, and got all 151 pokeman in my game. Then the added like 200 more. (Fucking Nintendo I gotem all then you added more) That was ALONG time ago. The kid in me thinks a new ver of Red and Blue is cool, but the gamer in me thinks been there, did that.

Yeah, it comes out the 7th here, and I'm sure as hell getting it. What're your teams gonna be? I've been wanting to train Pokemon I haven't trained before, so here's what I've come up with so far:

Charizard
Sandslash
Mr. Mime
Lapras
Jolteon

I still need a 6th, but can't decide. A normal type wouldn't hurt, but they always seemed a little bland and overall "bleh" to me. Here are some I'm considering:

Gengar
Snorlax
Kangaskhan
Tauros


I'm a total Poke-Geek.

Then one of the legendary birds, Most likey Articuno.

I'd like to know that as well. I used to love this game. With the price drop to GBASP, I think I'll pick it up.

Nobody mentioned Mew in their teams, did you guys ever get that one. :smt016 There was a GS code for it. Very cool character, think it only ever developed 4 attacks on it's own, but could learn any of them.

I think mine team was:
1. Venusaur
2. Golem
3. Gyrados
4. Charizard
5. Mew
(can't remember whether you could have 5 or 6)
6. Raichu? (was that the evolved Picachu?)

EDIT: Found this, http://db.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/pokemon_frlg_c.txt seems like it is just a revised version of the original, has some nice additions though, you can trade with several other pokemon games.
