sort of...
i liked the premise, and the art was beautiful. the music was also some of the best i have heard. but, i found myself getting bored at about the sixth or seventh episode, so i never actually finished the show. i'll give it another chance someday.

I watched the whole thing and it was alright, I remember seeing a lot of hype to it so I may have built myself up for something that would have to come short of my expectations. I too enjoyed the premise of it and I liked how Policegirl's character played out, although I wish she would have fought the urge all the way through the series.
I heard there is talk of a second season of it which could be pretty enjoyable...though I doubt we'll see that show on CN :)

good! they'd probably dumb it down, and clean it up. i'll still never forgive them for what they did to tenchi muyo!

Exactly, that's why I don't watch CN.

It's still better than nothing...I mean I love anime now but if it wasn't for CN I wouldn't be giving it any thought at all.

Bear in mind that they had to make changes for Tenchi because it was going to be shown on weekday afternoons.
Hellsing likely won't be touched (as much, at least) and be shown on Adult Swim.
That said, I liked it. Didn't love it. I've got some bootleg DVDs, and I really don't think its worth getting legit copies.

I watched in the Action Network and liked the story, art, etc. It had all of the right elements, but it didn't really grab like other anime shows/movies have. Only a handful have gotten me hooked.

yeah, but there was no reason for them to dub it that they were drinking tea when they were drinking sake. i was just getting more and more angry when you see the characters getting drunk, and their saying things like:
"boy! this sure is strong tea!"
i think most children know what alcohol is, there really was no reason to change it at all. especially, when the youngest person i could see watching that would be 10 or 11 years old.

I dont know wht they dont air shows like tenchi on AS over toonami

Well at the time they aired Tenchi, they didn't have an Adult Swim.
They had the midnight Toonami block, but all that featured were series without the minor edits (Gundam Wing, for instance). They really took a chance with [AS] with series like Aqua Teen and Sealab and whatnot. I'm sure if they were to show Tenchi now, they'd show it in a more untouched form on [AS].
Cartoon Network, as a company, is no longer interested in marketing anime towards younger children that watch in the afternoons. They're focusing almost entirely on those of the adult crowd that are watching late nights.

Alucard in my opinion is the coolest character ever in an anime.
