It was probably an OD if I had to guess, but damn, he died way too young. I remember seeing him a couple weeks ago on smackdown and seeing him dead now is just crazy. He was a good wrestler and liked by the fans.

I can't say why exactly, but I'm having a difficult time believing this.
If it is true, then yes, its terrible because he was one of the greats back then and now.
If it isn't true, I wouldn't be surprised that this would be allowed.

It's a work.
If it's a work, then the local police department and the medical examiners office are a part of it, as they have confirmed that he was found dead in his hotel room this morning.

Yes, I agree he is one of the greatest performers the WWE has ever seen. He was everything a professional wrestler should be.
And I would not be surprised if McMahon has Orton joke around about it this Friday.

I would have said that even Vince isn't that much of an Asshole to have someone do that, til I remembered him having MnM making a joke about 'Road Warrior' Hawks death.

Hopefully they do what they did for Owen Hart cause we just saw Eddie Guerrero last friday on smackdown unlike Hawk who we havent seen. Also remember that MnM did that close to a year after Hawk's death.

What, is he gonna come back like the Undertaker?

"Eddie Guerrero was found in his hotel room in Minneapolis with his toothbrush in his mouth. He apparently died while brushing his teeth. At this point, the belief among WWE personnel is that Guerrero died of heart failure.
Shortly after Guerrero's body was found and removed from the room, Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Dean Malenko and Chavo Guerrero visited the hotel room to say their goodbyes. WWE wrestlers and staffers were visibly shaken and emotional while leaving the hotel to go the Target Center, the site of tonight's Raw/Smackdown taping. Word from WWE sources is that the tenor of tonight's taping will be dramatically different and that the Smackdown show will need to be revised."

How do these wrestlers keep suddenly dropping dead? Its not like he was a steroid case. How do you all of sudden have a heart attack in the middle of brushing your teeth?

Its not like he was a steroid case.
Uh... he went from cruiser weight champ a couple years back to bulking up to be the World Champ. I wouldn't doubt he was on roids.
With that aside, it's really sad to see him pass on. His stage persona was goofy and fun to watch. He will be missed.
This is gonna sound crazy and stupid but...it might be a work? idk
Didn't they announce his death on WWE.com first? 'Cause if they did, then it could be just buildup for the ultimate surprise entry.
I don't know ,jus tme being stupid.

He's no bigger now than he was when he was a cruiser weight champ in WCW.
I just cant believe he died when he's in pretty good shape, yet Chavo Guerrero Sr. is still alive and kicking.

I remember hearing a while back, that heart failure is fairly common in body builders. When people workout that much, and keep really low percentages of bodyfat at the same time, it's pretty hard on your entire body.
Also, keep in mind, that Eddie had a pretty bad drug problem for a while, which also took it's toll I'm sure.

I would figure that would be good for your body. And didnt he have a coke problem? But if that was part of the cause, you would figure that almost everyone in the 80's would be dropping dead left and right.

Afterwards, all the wrestlers came out. Chris Benoit was crying from the moment he came out of the curtain, and was perhaps more emotional than anyone. Vince McMahon then said some words about Eddie: "Eddie Guerrero has passed away. Eddie was in the prime of his life, in the prime of his career. Tonight we celebrate the life of Eddie Guerrero. He loved the business. He had a passion like no one else. Whether cheered or booed, he loved to perform for the fans. Eddie Guerrero's goal every night was to steal the show. He would want the show to go on. And so we shall."
They had a 10-bell salute for Eddie, and the crowd was silent for it. After this, they aired a tribute video set to Johnny Cash's rendition of the Nine Inch Nails song "Hurt." When the video was done, Vince said, "Viva La Raza!" Pretty much everyone was out for this, including Shane McMahon, who was crying as well. The fans chanted "Thank you, Eddie!"
John Cena then had some words about Eddie: "Eddie was a father figure. Eddie was a man of faith, but selfishly, we'll all miss him."

The live show was just for the reunion show with the USA Network. Eddies been in the business for a long time. 38 is way too young to die....

Bodybuilding is good for your body.....to a point. Remember, your heart is a muscle just the same as your other muscles. And just like those other muscles, the more it works, the stronger it can get. Here's where you run into the problem....When the heart gets too strong, it can basically tear it self apart, just like when people who overdo a workout, can sometimes end up tearing a bicep, or peck, or whatever.
As far as his drug problem, I don't know. For some reason, I thought he was abusing prescription pain killers. But then again, there are quite a few wrestlers who've over done it with coke, so he may have been into that.

They started doing RAW live back when they were going head to head with WCW. When the hell did they stop. I always figured RAW was live and they taped Smackdown the next day.

Yeah, he did all kinds of drugs 4 years ago but then got sober, but the problem was they had already done the damage. And his work schedule did help any so it was just a matter or time. What he should have done was take more time off but that would only have prolonged the envitable.

Triple Hs talk looked a little put on. I mean, I can understand why he was crying over Owen, they were really good friends. I for one almost lost a tear or two when seeing Lilian Garcia talk about him.

I heard about Eddies passing while I was on a Community Service venture at the academy. It's very tragic indeed. I was one of my favorite wrestlers. I would like to find out how he died, though.

Heart failure. He had an enlarged heart, and his past with drugs and stuff caught up to him, even though he had been sober for 4 years.
