what an awesome week of sportscenter, especially the craig kilborn episode. i think the best part was some of the background music they played during the highlights. only problem i had, was where was keith olberman? maybe nbc wouldn't let him do it or something, but i really would of liked to see him and dan patrick do one more show.

Kilborn was terrible. How many times does he have to say he doesn't like baseball? The show was like one big plug for the Late Late Show. Only good part was his steroids joke.

Charlie Steiner was great (Come get your beating, Charlie!). Missed most of the Gumbel ep., and today's with some old guy who hosted well before my time. And that woman they brought back (again, from well before my time) seemed to forget how to call highlights.

And no Olbermann is inexcusable.

From what I understand, Olbermann REALLY got pissed off at ESPN and said some really inexcusable things to them and about them when he left. He burned his bridges immensely.

Hence why he wasn't on the show this week. I don't know all the details, all I know is that it was a messy breakup and neither side is willing to come to terms, even for this special occasion.

Well I have seen the episodes but couldn't sit through the whole thing. The color scheme design reminded me of the ESPN 2K5 interface.
