I never cared much for the Simpsons so Futurama did nothing for me as well. You might find a small laugh in watching either shows but not enough to have me glued to the set to watch them every week.

I'm mostly in it for ATHF, but I find myself in love with Futurama as well. It's just so solidly constructed, continuity-wise. I mean, look at the shadow of the chair shot in the first episode. Groening and his writers -knew- what they were doing with Futurama.
