for me it's bryan adams. i've been playing "please forgive me" like a kabillion times this week. funny, he doesn't fit in with the rest of the stuff i listen to, but he's still rocking me out...

I have a few I like, mainly because I don't watch MTV or listen to radio, so I don't have the whole "they're so overplayed" stigma when I listen to them.

As for telling you who they are, nice try. ;P

I guess I should be embarrassed for liking Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and a bunch of other pop stars. I actually went to see Christina and Justin in concert last year. It was fun.

I'm not too proud of admitting that I like Dashboard Confessional and I've seen them in concert not once, but twice.

No one should really be "embarrassed" to like a band or a person, if you like that band - person - group, then thats fine. No one should really make fun of you for it, or get pissy at you. I mean, i know alot of people who hate the bands i like (if only for the symbol (http://php.iupui.edu/%7Ejrbuck1/wayne/crossbuster.gif) they use ;)), and I really don't care. I like the music I like, and no one can really tell me otherwise, I also don't care about the music you really like that I don't like that much, i won't make fun of someone for it.

that said, I'm not embarrassed by any band - person - group i like.

Hmm... probably Enya or Dido... I won't download their songs or anything, but if it comes on the radio i don't turn it off... it's calm.. and catchy.

Micheal Jackson...for obvious reasons.

I still respect him as an artist and I have 2 of his albums in my computer: Dangerous and Invincible. I still get up and dance off some of his songs; like "Jam", "She Drives Me Wild", and a few others.

I'm not really embarrassed to link any artists/bands. I admit I think the Backstreet Boys and N*Sync made some damn good pop albums, I also think Joss Stone is amazing.

There's nothing wrong with liking Michael Jacksons music. The music and the person are two separate things. Some artists are complete assholes, or maybe be sick fucks, but they can still make good music. I like his older stuff more than his new stuff though. I thinkg all the plastic surgury affected his song writing ability.

I thinkg all the plastic surgury affected his song writing ability.I never thought of it that way, but I definitely would have to concur.

Uh....for me it would have to be Ashlee Simpson. Her songs tend to get stuck in my head, day after day, whenever I'm just sittin' at home. However, her music isn't that bad though, with the catchy tunes and her voice and whatnot.

Hilary Duff, and Ashlee Simpson are the only ones that I won't tell everyone I like.

I wouldn't say I'm EMBARRASSED to listen to her, but I'd definately say she's my guilty pleasure. Hilary Duff.... I typically dislike pop, but I could listen to her first cd over, and over, and over, and over.

I seriously can't wait until her next cd comes out. September 28th. That and Fable will make my month.

Why would anybody be embarrassed about what they listen to? Everybody knows that I am a rocker that listens to hard rock/heavy metal, but all of my friends also know that I listen to Frank Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack.
