I'm sort of confused about the rep. points.

I'm not a person to make any posts that offed anyone, but recently I got a few rep received that had good comments, yet the small icon was grey. I don't understand completely. Is there a limit for receiving bad reputation, or is it all a matter of someone hitting the wrong button? As stated in the title, I am confused.

The grey one means the person who gave you it doesnt haev enough posts or rep to hav it do any damage or good, usually no pints are taken or given, sometimes like one is.

I just got some grey rep, too. Is there any way to know if it was meant to be positive or if it was meant to be negative? Just curious, is all.

No because most of the time people don't leave comments at all. This seems to be even more prevalant with people who don't have enough posts to give positive/negative rep. Its either the same person, or just a whole bunch of different ones. I mean you only need 50 posts to be able to give out rep that actually does something.

Normally, I couldn't care less if people leave comments. But in this case, there's simply nothing there for me to be able to decipher the purpose of the rep.
