I was a bartender for a lot of years. I worked in Boston at restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Then i went and worked for Club Med as a bartender in Cancun, Paradise Island Bahammas, and Turkois.

I liked making drinks for all the ladies on vacation, but hated making all the frozen drinks.

Favorite Drink... I think it's a frozen mudslide. Kaluha, Baily's, and Vodka with Ice.

i can't really drink mix drinks anymore without getting ill. on the otherhand i can straight shoot about anything....

my stomach really does have a mind of it's own.

I've never been too much of a straight alcohol drinker, but I sure do love my Newcastle Draft. That stuff is tasty.

I'm a college student so for mixed drinks we go with the Incredible Hulk (Hennesy & Hypnotiq) or Chocolate Cake shots (Frangelico & Belvedeer vodka.) That's pretty much as far as we go. The guys drink the cheap beer, Natty Light; Busch; Keystone; and when we're really strapped for cash....Milwaukee 'Beasts'. The girl just have their Bacardi Razz and Sprite Remix.

I'm a beer dork, mostly, but I dip into some liquors when I can. I love Scotch, especially varieties that make it certain you're drinking POWERFUL ALCOHOL, like Cutty Sark or J&B.

And Rufio, I'm going to recommend something that may save your life. If you want cheap beer, drink Pabst Blue Ribbon. It's actually delicious, especially for its low low price.

I actually started liking the taste of malt liquors. Olde English 800 and Steel Reserve 911. Mmmm. $2 a bottle too. So for $4 I'm good for one night.

I like G Bomb shots, Satan's Revenge shots, Warp Core Breach shots, to name a few things that keep the parties forgetful. My friend went to get his bartending license and then ended up going online to some site to find a bunch of different drinks to mix and always has something new he wants us to try. I wish I knew the site he goes to because from what he tells me, there are bucketloads of drinks submitted there.

I used to drink that like water too.

Now I prefer mostly beer and an Irish Carbomb or two every now and then...

I don't mind shots either mostly vodka...

Mmm, Kaluha.. ^_^ I've had Kaluha over ice and milk once.. My mom let me try it because she won a whole bottle of it at her pool banquet. That stuff is so good! Not very strong or anything, but still good. Jello shots aren't too bad either. I've only had half of one though.

Anyways, my mom's a bartender... She's always saying she's gonna quit, but alas, this never actually takes place... *sighs*

Scot you need to come down to the new club "Boston Rocks". It's awsome, they play rock all night long and the people are great.

My favorite beer is Paulaner, it's a German Pilsner. I also like Hoegaarden and Bitburger. Of course in my younger days I was quite fond of the Beast (Old Milwaukee) and the Nasty light (Natty Light). Amazing how your tastes begin to change once you have a lil' more money :lol:

See, what I do is I take some Scotch, pour it in a glass with some Coke or Pepsi (doesn't really matter) and add just a pinch of Kool-Aid powder, preferrably Fruit Punch. Mix all that up, light it on fire for about ten seconds, and drink... after blowing the flame out, of course. Mighty tasty, I tell you.

For beer, its Guiness :-D, followed by Lagintas IPA :D, followed by whatever's cold

For hard alcohol, its pretty much Jameson's and Don Eduardo Tequila (with Jack D and Jim B)

and then there's wine, mostly a red wine man, though I do like a nice Chardonnay ( hey what can I say, I worked at a winery for 4 years)

Beer? Well, for one thing, fsck Guinness. Gimme Bass any day. Or some Dogfish Head, pretty much any of their varieties. And Yuengling's pretty much my staple. On the harder note, I LOVE SCOTCH. I love brutal, in-your-face Scotches like Cutty Sark and J&B. No nonsense.

Oooh...White Russians...Great tasting stuff, but you have to be careful with those bad boys.

One night at the bar, they had 2for 1 specials on mixed drinks, so my buddy was doing white russian all night long....Well, long story short, the waitress came over for our money at one point, and my buddy handed her a $50, and then proceded to projectile puke all over her. The bar went absolutely silent, until I just started laughing my ass off.
