View Full Version : Pro Wrestling: WWE Raw & Smackdown & NWA-TNA Impact
ULTRA WARRIOR

I look forward to watching pro wrestling every week. I like the wrestling, the storylines & the characters. WWE RAW for the moment is the better product. The shows after Wrestlemania XX have been really good. As for Smackdown, it's fallen down a flight of stairs since then. JBL as World champion wont ATTRACT new fans. If anything, it will chase Old Fans away. Been watching NWA-TNA since it's very first PPV. I've bought a few of their PPVs over the last 2 years they have always been well worth the $10. Now we have a weekly show in IMPACT & so far it's been very good. Gives me something to watch Saturdays at Midnight.

i watch TNA:W for the wrestling, i watch WWE Raw & SD! for the storylines.
and yes, Smackdown has gone downhill like a bitch, and it's become the C show (because Velocity & Heat put together = more of a B show to me)
but yeah.
BTW. Paul London should get Pushed to the moon.

ugh...wrestling. i never thought i would say that. i use to be an avid wrestling fan, but in the last two years it has become so boring and unpredictable that i haven't even watched an episode of raw or smackdown! since after wrestlemania. hell, i would rather watch the vince russo nitro's over the crap they show today.

I used to watch wrestling, but they have all these crappy characters and recycled storylines.

I like to watch Raw, but smackdown has turned into a steaming pile of crap. Its soo freaking boring, and I cant stand any of those guys anymore. I used to like Cena but now I hate him.
I go to a few local showss (Windy City Pro Wrestling), and even thou its pretty bad wrestling, its still fun to go to. I also like going to Raw.

Smackdown has started to suck since Heyman quit as a writer.

Are you on crack? The guy does not do anything in his promo's I couldn't do better. He rips on Mexicans. WOW  . The guy has a decent character, and has his moments (hand starilizer) but once again, that's probably the wirters idea. He has no buiness being with that title and I hope Eddie kills him in that cage match and wins the title back

I must say that my viewing has declined. I used to love it, before the roster split before all this new crap, mainly the attitude era. Good stars, good storylines, good matches, everything was great. It all kind of started to go down hill after the "Invasion". I still watch Raw when I am around, Smackdown is plain boring as everyone seems to agree. I wish for better days but I dont really see that happening. I am also very unhappy that they took away the hardcore title! Seeing a hardcore match was awesome, now they rarely occur.

I still watch Raw every week. Occassionally watch Smackdown, Velocity, or Heat if I see an interesting match in the spoilers.
NWA-TNA is awful and not worth my time.
I think I'll stick to watching classic tapes instead of current wrestling.

There is a wrestling board, and this thread belongs there, not the television forum.

But the fact that Wrestling is on TV says that it can be in this forums.
Now, I agree with all of you that Smackdown sucks really bad now that they have put JBL as the Champ and Kurt Angle as the GM, but I for some reason still watch it every week (I hate the fact that on Tuesdays and Thursdays there is nothing else on TV). I just hope that with Kurt going back on the active roster that things will start to get better (even though I know he cant save it). I still believe that Raw is a great show, even though I am getting tired of Triple H getting a Title shot every other week. It's not enought that he is banging the boss's daughter but he's got to use that to his advantage to get the title back before anyone else who should have it gets a chance. I just hope that they dont give Randy Orton the push they gave JBL by giving him the Title. I dont feel that Randy Orton is a good enought wrestler to win the title nor is he a true main eventer. I feel that he does too many mistakes at times same as is partner Batista. I'm also angry that they keep pushing Kane down. Back in his match against Shane McMahon, Kane took a lot more punishment then just the ring steps against his head, now he can't even beat Matt Hardy. Well I think this is enough of me ranting on about the WWE so, I'm going to leave you with a question. Who else thinks that Vince has taken a little to much steroids (just look at him trying to walk down to the ring at last smackdown)?

Well, seems like noone has posted in a while, so here are my thought. JBL as champ does seem weird, yes, and he might not be the best in the ring, I agree, though his Clothesline from Hell could take out anyone, I think he is making a good champ. He does some of the best promos I've seen, and gets some really good heat. Who can forget when he chased the mexicans out of America :). Good times, good times.
