Runnning a PC tournament is different from running a console tournament. For PC tournaments, we should have a server setup to run tournament matches from. We should also have prizes that are greater than those that could be won and a simple console tournament.

PC tournaments will take some time to organize, but they will happen in the coming months.

Definitely any Xbox or PC games. I don't own a 360 and prob wont for a long time, so I think games like Halo 2, Half Life, HL2, CS, CS:S, Splinter Cell, GW, etc would be good. Hell even some old school Mech Assault should be in the running for games.

That way it would make it fair for everyone to participate.

I got owned in the MLB tournament. I had a couple chances, but just like the real Phillies I screwed up. I left the bases loaded with no outs at one point.

I think the idea is to slowly add the games/systems everyone wants and have a ladder that allows people to compete for the title of All Games MVP in the game. Then we would send you a webcam so you could be featured on the site. Id eventually like All Games to sponsor the MVP's in other tourneys...but this is a good start.

Don't blame him, blame me.

The idea of the tournaments is to get people to come to Allgames. The way clan matches work is that people are substituted into the team so they can be ready to play at any time - and these people will not be registered on the site. If a clan wins, I think it's kinda dumb to give a prize out to people who don't even know what Allgames is just because their clan member happened to sign up here.

So, we are keeping all tournaments as 1v1 or 2v2 at the most, because the last 4v4 tournament we did died a horrible death and was really an embarrasment. I'd shudder to think about how an 8v8 or 16v16 tournament would pan out.

Our most successful tournaments were 1v1 and 2v2. We'd be silly not to concentrate on them.

A Gametap tourney would be great. It could event be structured a litle like the WSOP H.O.R.S.E. tourney where you have to post scores on different games.
