If you were to chose between a new TV (say around $400-$500 TV) or OK but not great seats to your favorite team... what would you chose??

Tickets, a $400-$500 TV isnt going to be very good.

I've sat in some nice obstructed seats at Fenway many times, and it still beats watching a game from home.

i pick the tickets, if only my expenses for my trip from wichita to st. louis was paid for. if not, i'll just buy me some good tickets.
If its a Pats game, I'd rather be at the game than watching it on TV, even Hi-Def.
But if it's a team i'm not into, then i'd rather be at home watching on TV, cause i can flip around to other games. Sunday ticket is GOOD.
I am going back east for the first game of the season. MY family has had season tickets for the Patriots since they played at FENWAY PARK AND HARVARD. So i'm heading back for Colts Pats Thursday September 9th.
Peyton will be pwned once again.

I would only pick the TV if I got to actually KEEP the TV. :D

It depends on a number of factors. If my team is playing in preseason or against a crappy team, then I'd go with the TV. If it's against a good team or in the playoffs, then of course I'd pick the tickets.

Make that tv a 20 inch flat screen LCD monitor for my PC, and I'll take it.

Heh anyway I didn't fully read before I voted but I voted for tickets. I'm pretty much the same way Scot is. Since I'm up here in Mass if its a Pats game then I will take the season tickets were they? But if its some other team then I would have no way to get there and so I would rather have a new tv. I'm not sure how much the tv we have now costed but it sounds like the 400-500 dollar tv would be better then ours. The one we have no is like 36 inch I think and probably needs to be replaced within a few years since its already at least 6 or 7 years old. Especially since all tvs will be moving to HDTV by like 2007 I think it is.
