I think I may pick this up. I need something to read, and since this has a comic book feel to it, I'd actually finish it.

after seeing some of what the comics art styles are I am thinking I may not get it. some of the art was amazing but some of it looked like something a 12 year old fan drew

I just ordered The Halo Graphic Novel on Amazon.com for $14.99. They say it's on pre-order though.

We're going to have someone from Marvel talk about it very soon. Hopefully it will help those who are on the fence. I wasn't impressed by all of the artist myself but I hear the writing is top notch.

I'd just read it in the store. Graphic Novels are way too expensive to buy and short enough to read without getting kicked out.

I agree. With the exception of "Biz", most of those guys are old school artists better known for their story-telling techniques than their dynamic lines. It's too bad DC has the old Homage Studios guys locked up...Jim Lee and/or Whilce Portacio (with some Scott Williams inks to boot) would have really done that graphic novel justice.

My Book just got delivered! smells all new and stuff. Good now I have something to read during the boring times at work.

One of my friends got it, it had some cool artwork but then other stuff was horrible

I didn't really get into the first story, haven't read the others yet.
