Hey there,

Been listening to the podcast for a couple of months now and finally had to post. First off re: Darwinia (http://www.xblarcade.com/2006/06/02/rumor-roundup-4/), now on to the ranting and raving :)

I love how people talk about how none of the games on xblarcade are good enough, and they want more independent titles. I know it's tough to scroll down all the way down to the Ws, but if your looking for a good indie game try Wik (winner of the grand prize at the 2005 IGF). As for the games not being worth the money, go back to playing broken 2K Sports games at 5 to 10 times the price.

Thanks,

PS Keep up the good work Blackwolf (and no that's not supposed to be sarcastic)

To be honest, I love Wik and Marble Blast - I bought both when they were released. (Was Wik available at launch or was it a little bit later? I can't remember.) In fact, I think Cloning Clyde is the first non-retro game I haven't bought from the Arcade...Well, other than the 50 Geometry Wars clones...Only bought Geometry Wars.

Agreed i have had a ton of fun with the arcade games. Smash TV never gets old. Right now i am seriously thinking about going to the video game adiction clinic because there is something seriously wrong with me. I cant stop playing ZUMA. It consumes all of my gaming time and it never gets old. Something about that simple game mechanic that is done so well ... just never gets old.

Wik came out less than a month after lauch (Dec 15th)

As for the 50 Geometry Wars clones, if you looking for some great local co-op play, then give Mutant Storm a whirl.
