There's no more classic games coming to the GBA for now and with the exclusion of Contra i'm hella pissed :-x

Here is the problem I had with all those "Classic" games being remade for the GBA..... if you have a palm (http://www.kalemsoft.com/nesem.html)
or PPC (http://www.zophar.net/ppc/nes.html)
You can get some really good Emulaters for the NES, or even SNES, and most of them are free already... I would see no point in getting the remakes.
If I DID NOT have a Palm or PPC, then I would see more point in getting them.

Emulation's not that great. There's just something about having the game media there, in your hand, along with a manual to flip through.

I could care less about not haveing the "game media" because.... i'm still playing the game....
and if I really need a manual, here are some high quality scans of them (http://www.hqscansorg.org/)
ANd what if you already own the game for the NES - snes, why would you want to buy the same game for a different console? Here, it's free.

So in other words, you can either buy a $20 GBA game with the classic game...
...Or you can buy a $200 PDA and a high quality printer to get the same experience.
Your call.

I'm saying if you Already HAVE a Palm or PPC, if you don't and you have a GBA, then by all means get the other games. if you DO have the latter, then I don't see much point.

Which card to play? But at least Nintendo kicked back with the nostalgic re-releases.
Just gotta admit for being thankful to see those titles again.
Even for a handheld re-collection. Gaining more attention.
Although its sad to see them end the line-up this soon.

I think they just might not have flown so well, because I'm pretty sure they were thinking of doing more. *sigh* Maybe if they'd dumped more money into the Classic series and marketing that instead of the abortion they call GBA Video...

All I want is to finally see the real FF3(The American SNES was 6) released. For the GBA would be even better.

Most people complain about those releases though. Or at least your Nintendo haters do since they say its only a rehash and thats all the GBA is good for and whatever else. I don't really mind them so much since anyone who has ever owned an NES knows how much of a pain in the butt it is to get that thing to work. Even when it was brand new.

I paid $14.99 for a PC controller that is almost like my PS2 controller with the same buttons, dual analog sticks, and Vibration. :D
I barely use my GBA anymore. I can play my old PS1 games on my pc with enhanced graphics, or play GBA games on my PC not using batteries. :) Bigger Screen ;) Better sound with speakers. heh...Much better.

Donkey Kong is available through Animal Cross if you have the link cable. You can also obtain Super Mario Bros and Legend of Zelda through Animal Crossing using Action Replay.

Yeah but using it can screw up your game. There should be some real code or something though considering now company officially endorses using an Action Replay. So that would be kind of lame to put some old NES games into AC with no possible way to get them that Nintendo is ok with. I think eventually they will release the codes for them. You know kind of like how Rare released the codes for Goldeneye like 5 years later. :?

Well, at least Square-Enix (supposedly) is bringing the GBA remakes of Final Fantasy 1 and 2 Stateside /pray but we'll see.
I would love Konami to put the Castlevania Anthology on GBA (it's Castlevania 1-3 and Contra 1-2 on the PC)

I like the fact that they are releasing the classic games for the GBA but $20 a pop? That robbery. You can go to the bargin bins and buy the original game for a fraction of that.
They should have compilations for $25-30 with say, 3-6 games per cart...to me thats fair. I'm not dropping 20 bucks on 20 year old game when I could pay the same for a year old PS2, Xbox, or GC greatest hit.
