As if we didn't know already.

P.S. Someone asked me wanting to know what they looked like in real life, since they live in the Seattle area. Well there's a pic in the article.

Never really appreciated the language in their comics. Sometimes they can be funny, but sometimes they go for shock value, and that's not really something that I find humorous.

I never really liked Penny Arcade. Some are funny, Some are stupid.

Although, I do know a girl that went to the Penny Arcade Exposition Sunday. She told me all about it, Sounded kickass.

Yeah I don't really love em. A lot of the time they make jokes about games that I have no clue about, so in the end I just don't get it. But occasionally they'll make one that I'll really enjoy.

This is proof that it's usually less about being great, and more about being consistant and doing what you love. Of all the PA comics I have seen over the years, maybe one or two were funny, but the art is good, and they are consistent, and I think that's what has carried them this far. They need a better writer though. IMO

I know one time someone asked them for advice on how to run a internet comic. The biggest thing they said was pick a deadline & stick to it. Do not say you will have new comics on a certain day & then get lazy & post when ever you feel like it. So yeah consistancy probably played a good part of their success.

I like it too... the majority of them are funny, and all of them are at least entertaining.

I find Penny-arcade hilarious. :)

The comics are dead on and I really enjoy their "take no shit" attitude. They do things their way and never changed the comic to please a sponser.

I give them massive amounts of credit for doing what they love and being able to make a stable living at it. Not too many people can say the same.

The language is often rather unnecessary, but other than that, I enjoy Penny Arcade. Even the ones on games I'm not familiar with aren't hard to grasp, so long as I read the blurb on the main page for the day. Besides, the game industry could use a bit of jabbing, especially with the state things are in currently.

I think they do a good job with their comic and you can always count on them being spot on with their deadline, even when they go to conventions, expos, etc etc

One of them is married, and has a child now.
Their comics somewhat portray themselves. This comic was actually a real proposal.
