This game is going to bring me back to the days of multiplaying goodness like with Secret of Mana. RPGS are sooooo much better with real time fighting systems! *shudders*

So much eyecandy too....im glad they went with the animeish/celshaded approach! "Beautiful cel-shaded characters by renowned artist Kosuke Fujishima, author of manga and anime version of Oh! My Goddess."

It looks amazing. On top of being an RPG boasting 80 hours of gameplay....its all real time combat......

I've got a preorder in for it, and am barely scraping together to actually pick it up when it gets in. ^_^;; But I've flipped through the free artbook you get (at least, with GameStop preorders), and it's not too bad. A bit scanty, but it's got big color images of everything that looks like it might matter. So I'm all for it. Costume references abound! That, and I've just really wanted to play the Tales games since I heard about Tales Of Phantasia for the Super Famicom, since I love Kosuke Fujishima's work. It looks like his style's really evolved, too. Nummy.

The best RPG I've ever played next to Wind Waker.

-Story is great
-characters are lovable
-battles are chaotic and insanely fun
-The graphikz pwn
-Voice acting is great *anime fans will recognize some voices*

omfg the battles are sooo much fun........8 hours into it you learn the unison attacks and thats where the game really shines....performing special attacks with your party members on one specific baddy......sweet! The enemy varity is pretty nice too.........

Im 16 hours into the 80hour adventure.........this game is off the chain.....*dangling*........

The fighting engine has me craving enemy encounters.......In most RPGS the battles get boring.........but not in tales of symphonia.....No sir......the fights are so much fun.......esspecially the difficult ones.........

Zorn I hated Brute Force.........but w/e to each is own.....

how true......im pretty cool with the guys at my local EBGAMES.....I asked the manager if he got his copy yet.....his response was "THIS GAME IS SOOOO FRESH~!!!!!" He said hes spending more time playing ToS than FF 11.....


Just pwnzored the 2nd skull.........33,333 hitpoints......the battle took 20 + minutes. Some how I pulled off this insane unison attack.

My party was Lloyd, Raine, Genis and Collette. Lloyd started things off with a FIERCE DEMON FANG, Raine did PHOTON, Collette summoned ANGEL FEATHERS, Genis preformed the ERUPTION spell, then I saw Raine and Collete standing next to each other and each preformed their technique again...They said "Go Lloyd"...then Lloyd finished off the unison attack with a HUNTING BEAST.

I think it was 25 hits for 4000 damage........something like that.........I had to pause the game.......and be like "damn that was fucking sweet"

I pulled off a 52 hit combo on his ass for 8509 dammage..........my party was Lloyd, Presea, Regal and Zelos..............

43 hours in and im still on the first disk and the end is no where in freakin sight!!!

well now im 79 hours and 25 minutes into the game. My characters are at level 78. I have kratos back in my party. I have defeated Maxwell, the 3 skulls, Abyssion and powered up my devil arms. All I have left to do is get my characters up to level 80 to get the ultimate weapons for Presea and Regal.......then I have to finish off the rest of the Collesium......I have to beat advanced class with Collette, Regal, Raine and Genis..........then I can go beat the game and put down this beast of an RPG. I should finish within 90 hours.

I beat it today........all items, 96% of monsterlist, all titles, all costumes, all secret weapons, did all of the collesium, defeated the 3 skulls, abyssion, got all summon spirits, recipes etc.........83 hours and 23 minutes........I had kratos in my party.........next im going to beat it again and go for the sheena ending........then start a game +

Got it, played, beat it.

I finished on 49 hours, including times I left the game on pause during a couple battles while I went to the store or doctor's, the pause time added up. In all the game took me maybe 5 - 7 days of non-stop playing.

good job....I've beat it twice....now im playing through it from the beginning......I have to do the water seal.....and get the first 3 summons.....im at level 25.......12 hours in.....i chose to transfer over all my techs.......if you do that......the game is insanely easy.....LOL a level 10 genis doing explosion!!! LOL its great!

I just got back to playing it after a month or so.
I like it alot better now than when I first started and now it's hard to even put down.
Amazing game after about 15 hours or so.
Currently 20 hours in, I get alot more gaming in while at my Grandparent's house.
