by the way, do you guys get this event, when lloyd went back to heidmall after it was destroy to get genis most powerful tech. if you go to near the elder's house. there's a elf, if you talk to him.. then, it got blank, he were then talk about a curse book, and a sacred stone, which you got it in mithos castle. however, where is that curse book, the elf said if you don't destroy that book, the whole world is became like an underworld. or this is a serious book. do you guys find that book? if not, they should start a new game call, tales of symphonia 2 the curse book or something.

the book is in the Sybak library....after you get the Derris Emblem

It is a book that leads to the Underworld of Niflehim. It is the hardest dungeon in the game and has 2 bosses. It will take you around 2 hours to beat. The monsters are hella strong....plus in order to get your soul fire up, you will have to fight by yourself once and a while.....

You can play through that dungeon for an hour or more then die.....
Make sure you protect yourself from the pertrifing of the medusas

what do you get after beating the curse book? i went there last night, it says that my soulfire is not enough to go down after 15th floor to meet the final boss. what do you get after beating him and how much soulfire do you need?

I had like 1000 soul fire. You get 100 + soul fire bonus on certain floors. When you get the promt to

fight with 1 character of your choice
fight with a randomly selected character

etc.

Im good with all my characters so I let the floor choose one at random. Just make sure you equip a krona seal so u don't get petrified.

Im pretty good with Regal....you just need to know what techs to string along to make a good combo....try to bait one or two baddies to follow you to the edge of the battle arena....the other 2 should just chill out and let you fight....

i think it is kratos.. i mean, when she said she didn't need the crown anymore giving by him, sounds like she is kind of angry or heart broken. i mean, when kratos betray the group, she thought they have something. but then he betray the group.. he gave her the present in triet that night because he and raine besides lloyd are the only people not sleeping yet. maybe before lloyd went to see raine, kratos went to see raine first and give her a crown. that's why she was looking at the crown and play with it when lloyd came to see her. and also, don't you feel kinda of weird because raine is the only person at the end mention kratos path none of other main characters mention kratos.besides lloyd, and we all know lloyd is kratos 's son. and look all the images that about kratos and raine.. i mean it makes me believe that they were in love or something.

I like Tales of Symphonia better.....

Baten Kaitos is refreshing. It's turnbased battles....but it uses a magnus card system which you choose a card to play....offensive...defensive...healing....It's really alot of fun when you pull off fanstastic combos and finishers.....its a good game....I think its worth the buy.

I don't care for the character design or the voice acting though.

The story is that Kalas is out for revenge. The evil Empire killed his grandfather and sister. The evil emperor is after 5 golden END MAGNUS to revive the ancient god of destruction.

It's not really like Yugioh.....Each Card called a Magnus holds a spell, armor, weapon or healing item. When you play them in battle...it does the action...ex) You play an attack card....you attack. It takes a little getting used to...but it's absolutely brilliant.

Im playing through again with the 10xEXP multiplier......

Im level 62...14 or so hours into the game....I just owned Remiel, Kratos and I was on my way to kicking Yggdrasil's ass.......but the fight ends after a few minutes.........even though none of my characters were KO'd.

well i use life bottles and gels...no need for her, she's too...annoying! god she throws a temper tantrum and beats everyone up when they disagree with her...also if im out of gels i just get zelos to heal and sheena to use that one spell where she can bring people back to life with 0 hp...

i love raine.. so no matter what, i'm going to believe that kratos and raine together thing.. who ever think anna is such an important character, how come namco didn't even show what she looks like.. if she is so important to the game, how come we saw how alicia looks like, clara, martel and etc.. how come namco didn't want to bring an image back for anna? anna is probably just important to lloyd and that's all. the whole story does not involve with anna.. it is more likely involved with martel.
