Ok basically as it says. I want to know some good ones except for the following which I have or have read.

The Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn
Heir to the Empire (http://www.theforce.net/books/reviews/ttt_htte.shtml)
Dark Force Rising (http://www.theforce.net/books/reviews/ttt_dfr.shtml) (Read)
The Last Command (http://www.theforce.net/books/reviews/ttt_tlc.shtml)

The Hand of Thrawn Duology by Timothy Zahn
Specter of the Past (http://www.theforce.net/books/reviews/hot_sotp.shtml)
Vision of the Future (http://www.theforce.net/books/reviews/hot_votf.shtml) (Read)

The Jedi Academy Trilogy by Kevin J. Anderson
Jedi Search (http://www.theforce.net/books/reviews/jat_js.shtml)
Dark Apprentice (http://www.theforce.net/books/reviews/jat_da.shtml) (Own, Read)
Champions of the Force (http://www.theforce.net/books/reviews/jat_cotf.shtml)

The Truce At Bakura (http://www.theforce.net/books/reviews/ttab.shtml) by Kathy Tyers (Read)

The New Rebellion (http://www.theforce.net/books/reviews/tnr.shtml) by Kristine Kathryn Rusch (Own, Not yet read)

Anyway thats my list. I was looking at the Black Fleet Crisis where I think from the blurb I read its the one where Lando gets in trouble or something. And then I thought I read of maybe read a preview of Darksaber. So basically I'm looking for books like these that are well written and that I will enjoy. Heh I'm picking up my paycheck Friday and my discount is just begging me to use it. :)

Tales of the Bounty Hunters is a good one. Also, there's a new one out, that was written by Timothy Zahn, BUT I can't think of the name of it at the moment(at work right now, goofing off on the bosses dime).

I agree with Shadows of the Empire, that was a pretty good read. And I think I remember enjoying the Rogue Squadron series but I'm not quite sure. But definately SotE.

Heh well the problem with Shadows of the Empire is I played the game.

For now though I'm mainly looking for the original movie characters. Mostly Luke, Han, Chewie, Lando, and then Leia a bit. Is the Black Fleet Crisis any good? It seemed like it was pretty cool from what I read of the preview. Heh I'm going to have so many Star Wars books once I'm done, although I shouldn't spend to much of my money. ;-)

The book came first & has very little to do with the game. Also it takes place between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, so all your favorite original movie charaters are there.

Xizor, the Dark Prince and underlord of the criminal organization Black Sun, plots to kill Luke Skywalker to usurp Darth Vader's position with the Emperor. Perry is the first novelist authorized by George Lucas to reveal what happened to the familiar Star Wars characters between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Highly recommended for fans of the series.

Heh to bad I already did like a week and a half ago. Pretty much like 2 or 3 days maybe after this post. I finished up The New Rebellion and have now started on Shadows of the Empire. For some reason I am just really loving this book even though I am only like 80 pages in. Its a really easy read to. I usually read slower but I just seem to be able to read this book faster. I don't know if its because I played the game, or because it takes place during the movie years, but this books rocks.

What I figured I would do though is just buy them all. With my empolyee discount I'm going to try and get one every friday on payday since it will cost me under 5 bucks and then try to read 1 a week to get another the next week. Seems like a pretty good plan to me. This friday I was thinking of getting the first book of the Han Solo Trilogy. Good/bad idea? I figure I will leave the prequal books for last since theres some still coming out, or bound to come out for Episode 3.

Heh I can't wait for the first week of December though since its Employee Appreciation Week and our discount goes up to 40%. I'm going to buy like probably 200 or so bucks in books. I know I'm going to get a giant book on animals and then an Atlas. Then probably a bunch of books on history, and some Christmas presents.
