Greetings AllGamers! It's me Frank Lloyd Wrong from the Video Game Outisders Staff, here to bring you the VGO Weekly Update: Your all-in-one update on the newest VGO broadcast!
Episode 75
Day 16, 9:25pm.
I’ve been in the remote reaches of the area for weeks now, hiding in the fake foliage hoping for just a glimpse of the rarest, most storied creature in the entertainment target market kingdom… the Casual Gamer. I’m excited to say, after weeks of living off of power bars and whatever sustenance I could find in the barren wasteland that the mysterious creature has emerged!
For years Anthropologists have speculated as to the true nature of the Casual Gamer, and now I finally have the photos to prove it. The Discovery Channel, National Geographic, G4… who knows who’ll pay top dollar for these shots! All I know is, if I can manage to make it out of here alive, I’ll be a rich man!
It’s uncanny, the true nature of these fickle, easily frightened creatures. They’re afraid not only of violence as Experts such as the Video Game Outsiders have mentioned in their numerous lectures, but they also appear to be afraid of sudden movement, as well as the celestial aligning of the planets occurring four times a month known only by local tribes as, “release day.” On those days, they’re no where to be seen. In fact, they can’t even be identified among their larger packs unless they’re prepared to take part in a rare ceremony called “gaming.” Here comes one now…. She… she’s going to the couch… she’s got a copy of Jak and Daxter! This is just breathtaking I wish I could describe… oh, my. I have to sign off now; I can’t risk being noticed….
