Catan has hit Xbox Live Arcade (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/c/catanxboxlivearcade/) demoless - can I have some ore? What other board games would work well on XBLA?
The Gears of War Map Pack (http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2007/05/03/gears-of-war-multiplayer-map-pack-2.aspx) is out, and costs money for four months.
The PS Home Closed Beta has begun, and we were misled at GDC about the ability to sign up (http://www.homebetatrial.com/), although the process they're using to beta test is sound.
Puzzle Quest is coming to XBLA (http://home.businesswire.com/portal/site/newsnow/index.jsp?ndmViewId=news_view&ndmConfigId=1004992&newsId=20070501005743&newsLang=en) - right after we got the PSP version.
A student who made a Counterstrike mod of his high school has been transferred (http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/headline/metro/4766843.html) and will not be allowed to graduate with his classmates. We tell a story of a DOOM remake done in 1995 and the reaction from the school faculty was quite the opposite.
Plus, we take calls about media violence and Spider-Man 3's camera, which are possibly related.
