3D Programs

i know that maya, 3d max, and so on are staples of the 3d modeling and animation but does anyone use blender?

The reason why im asking is id like to make a cartoon series.

this is rather random. but i notice in the show when i listen theres alot of people who seem to call in who are into 3d

blender doesnt really have the best renderer or shader option, but its free, so you cant go too far wrong, a friend of mine uses it...but the quality of his work suffers beause of it.

I use 3ds max personally, and i love it, i will post some of my work.
