Hey, loved the interview. It actually made me interested in trying this out. Anyone play this or know more than was mentioned in the interview. I like that the story progresses over time but I was confused about this. If your a new player do you start out in the world where everyone else is with the world or you get to start out at the beginning and work your way and catch up somehow?

I have played it and i enjoyed it. When you start you begin from where everyone else is. Basically it's like parts are added to it, thus extending the story and value of the title. In my opinion this game is either for a fan of MMORPG games like WoW and such or for people who loved the Matrix Series. With complete honesty leveling up in this game seems to me a little cheap and sad at times. Mainly, XP is only gained in enough amount when doing very high level missions, and because of this many players do missions with maxed out players. Resulting in you just running around the city (Or super Jumping if you get high enough) and waiting while they complete the mission.
There are basic missions and story missions. Story missions will countinue the story of the game while basic missions are simple tasks for your organization. To be honest, until you max out your level and profession you may be a little bored. But once you max yourself out you will have a blast, from massive amounts of PvP to parties and events, you will not ever be bored (For the most part.) My only complaint is that while at a low level the amount of available content is very low. All sorts of Virtual constructs to battle mosters, tons of items you can get. You can make your own faction(a clan) made up of many smaller groups of people (A Ship) which i thought was interesting.
Basically one person controls the entire faction. He recruits pilots to his faction. Thus making a group. Larger factions include many many ships, and some even have groups of factions in a sort of council.
Other than that and a few things i wish would be added i have no complaints. The game has a good community that tends to be very helpful and it's a pretty interesting and fun game. Any questions?

I have decided to give it a try since the game was £5 at Amazon.co.uk with a free 30 day trial.
Let us know how you like it, maybe call in or leave a message?

I have spent a few hours on it and so far i like it.At the moment i am just doing some learning missions so i am glad i have not been frown in to the deep end.
I have not met anyone real yet who wants to kick my arse so i am happy i can get used to the combat system on dumb AI's.
Then i got the blue screen of death NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

This is my first MMO and all i have to say is WOW i am really enjoying this game.I was never really interested with other MMO's world of warcraft and others like guild wars just did not interest me Due to the medieval themes.
The matrix online was one of them games i never got around to but i would of liked to since i really like the films so thanks to scot for getting that interview and pritty much reminding me about this game.
Now my stats have gone up a little and i have a better understanding how the game is played.
One thing that really surprised me was i ran in to a random player and we had a bit of a chat and out of the blue He/she gave me $250.000 to help me out with getting started

when I heard that new players don't get to play out the story line from where the movies left off kinda turned me off. I'd want to start from there don't you? I mean the thing has been around for a few years now, kinda missed out alot no?

I am not sure but i think there is a way to play the old missions but they will cost you in game money.
But as far as i know its a real time story your just a redpill who just started on the day you woke up.
