If you guys haven't talked too much about these series yet:

Lone Wolf and Cub
Preacher

It's too bad Joss Whedon started hopping around from project to project as I would love to see him sit down and do a proper Firefly comic series for the next 4-5 years. The guy talked about how canceling his shit wasn't about to keep him down, but besides the mini-series and a movie, it's too bad he left the universe without continuing it. You guys could talk about that if you like his work.

I like how you guys spend a good 20-30 minutes to delve into a series you're reading, so keep that up. Also, I enjoy how you talk about comics that don't get alot of attention, and score interviews with indie artists/writers. Most of the big guys like Gaiman already have 50 interviews posted on the web, so you usually don't get any new info out of them. Up and comers are definitely an interesting direction to take the show.

I really like BSherod's "Oprah's Book Club" idea in the last show. I don't read a ton of comics, so I feel overwhelmed looking at the huge selection out there. None of my friends read comics either, so i never have anyone to talk to about them. Great idea.

Like Hoyle said, the interviews are really cool. Keep up the good work. Moe for President!

i initially had a vision for the show to be more like The View but i decided it should be funny and not to serious. i love how its going and love the fact that the listeners enjoy it too

Also, Oscar, stop with the Marvel comments. It's getting old.

Oh yeah, you guys could talk about the Boys. They got their new publisher and it's like they never skipped a beat. Good stuff. The 1st paperback is also available.

book club:
1a) everyone on the panel agrees on a book that none have read (perhaps a $20-30 trade)
1b) If you wanna get fancy, you could have a community poll to decide what book is picked
2) give audience an advanced notice so they can have a chance to read it before the "book club episode"
3) Comic discussion to follow with callers/chatters on-topic together, i.e. Profit

Sometimes the show talks about books I've never heard of, and while its good to be exposed to new things, doing it as a community will result in better conversations.
