Star Wars: Battlefront or Burnout 3?

I have leftover money from my PC...and I need a PS2 game to hold out until I get GTA: SA... So the question is Burnout 3 or Battlefront?

Both have online multiplayer and offline (Great for my bro and I). I have always liked Burnout, and I have always liked Star Wars.

But I can't choose which one to get, Help please? :D

Uhhhh....SW:Battlefront doesn't come out until next week...

As far as what you want to get The Matrix, I'd say it's a toss up. I have Burnout 3 on Xbox, and love it. EA's Menu/lobby system sucks, but once you're in a game there's zero lag.

As far as Battlefront, well; I won't know until next week. But I did play a single player demo on PS2, and it's also pretty fun. Just think, 3rd person Battlefield 1942 set in the SW universe.

He has the demo too. I bought the Burnout 3 demo, and was amazed.

Well, I only have a PS2, so maybe the online will be Ok for Burnout 3. It's got nothing but great reviews.


Also, I think Battlefront is a FPS too. For snipers I think. Looks awesome IMO, but I may go with Burnout 3, and get Battlefront around Christmas.

Was going to buy PC games, but wait until Christmas time to get my new video card. ;)

Anyways, I already bought Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, so that's my game for October, My Dad might buy me MGS3 (hopefully, 1st game he will buy for non-holiday since Enter The Matrix...), and that Will be November's game. December, it all depends. :P

Battlefront is a TPS, not a FPS.
Republic Commando is a FPS, but that won't come out until 2005.

im sure its mainly third person. thats why its battlefield but with star wars characters and scenairy. idk i would go with battlefront because well burnout has the EA name on it and who likes that? second i would say because wouldnt a shooter last you longer than a racing game? reguardless of what burnout 3 does different from other racers its still racing and they really dont last long. i played burnout for probably half an hour and thought it was pretty cool but still it isnt something i would want to pay full price for and be happy with.

im going to fail english.... :(

Quick update.....IGN gave Battlefront on the PS2 an 8.4....Xbox version got an 8.5, and the PC version got a 7.5

i work at game (electronics boutique) to some of you guys, and it sold out over the weekend on ps2, and i must say i do not like it that much, enjoyable for about 5 minutes

Burnout 3 is a great arcade racer. Very fast, and the crash mode is as great as ever. The music is absolutely horrendous. If only I could listen to Katamari Damacy's soundtrack over it.
