Sweet Canadian EB deals starting this week

EB Games has been having some pretty good deals lately. Here's three that are starting this week:


Buy any used game, get 50% off a second used game (must of equal or lesser value than the first game)
Trade in any 3 games with a trade-in-value of $8 or higher, preorder any unreleased game you want in full. You will only get $60 or $70 credit if you try to preorder GH3 or Rock Band.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance (360) is $9.99 this week. But good luck finding a copy. (I went to the EB near my work 1 1/2 hour after it opened and they sold out of it already)

Edit: The standard price for DS Lites at EB is now $110 also. They got some trade promotions for it too. Here's what you can trade into get the priced knocked down:
Any game with TIV >= $8: $30 off
DSL (but why would you trade a DSL for a DSL anyway?): $100 off
DS Phat: $60 off
GBASP: $40 off


Edit 2: Your mileage may vary, but apparently EB will accept DS' with a cracked hinge towards the trade. So there's a reason to trade a DSL for a DSL I guess...

Edit 3: Trade in 10 games with a TIV of $8 or more, and pay only $299 for a PS3 + PS3 remote + free game (crap movie game though)

Not too bad, in the US if you trade in 2 $20 next gen games and you have an edge card you'd get a $10 bonus plus $4 for using your edge, so you'd get close to that for just for just trading in 2 games.

Sweet, I'll have to swing buy and see what my local one has. I was holding off on getting a DSL until a price drop, and now it's here. Just in time to, as I got an R4 recently.
