Any played the demo on Xbl yet?
I really liked it alot. I thought the new superstar abilities were going to be chessy, but they work well. The few reanimations are great as well. The thing that bothers me is the commentary! The reuse the same lines for 2006 and 2007! The commentary is off too I did the Rko and 2 minutes later they said I did that move. Other than that I love the demo and can't wait for the full game.

If they kept the same grappling system, I'd rather not touch it.

The grappling system is much better with the analog stick. I find it much easier than the button.

Yeah i played it. I just found it average, I havent played a smackdown game for a while. But after playing the demo it felt kinda old real quick. It looks pretty good though. I will still pick it up as my little nethew loves the smackdown games.

They have tweaked the grappling system and i like it better then what it was like last year but to be honnist i really wish they never changed it at all i liked the control system as it was before they decided to use the stick.
As for the rest of it i really do think its a big improvement from last years SVR and it looks really good but i wish there was online play in the demo as last years online was shit i really hope they have sorted it out.
There was nothing worse then spending 15 min trying to get a win then the bastard quits just before the 3rd count in a pin or just before they submit and YOU GET NOTHING YOU LOSE GOOD DAY SIR:mad:

Graphically, I thought it was a step up from last year. But, I'm not that big on the grapple system with the analog. At least give us the choice of classic controls or new controls. Ill still get it for the season mode. I just wish they would come up with some new mechanics.

You have the option to use the button in 07. I believe you can still do it in the full game.

I didn't notice it, I will have to make it a download tonight. Just picked up Guitar Hero 2 this weekend and have been playing that since watching the excitement with GH3 at E4all this weekend.

I played it. Was alright. Might pick it up for $40 after XMAS.
I'm more excited in trying the TNA game after hearing so many good things.

Is there a create-a-wrestler mode in this?

Yeh and the CAW modes are normally really good in the smackdown games depending on how much time you spend on a CAW you can pritty much create anyone.
Last time i played online i got beat by the hulk lol.

Me, Rob, Gawdy Boi, and chrisphil played a couple of online matches tonight and it was pretty fun, except for the fact you can't manually switch targets and glitches where you can't control your wrestler at all.
