I'm surprised MS is taking such a heavy-handed approach to something as trivial as Gamerscore. But whatever, kudos to them I guess.
As for account sharing, it's part of Darwin's Law for video games. If you're stupid enough to give your account info to some 13 year old promising you to get all the skulls in Halo 3, then you don't deserve an account. Common sense people.

I already sent a report to Microsoft about this incident. They will disconnect your Live service, red ring your 360, break your TV, shoot your dog (or cat), burn your house down, and make sure you will not play Call of Duty 4 on any system ever again.

Um didnt they fix this a LONG time ago? Try to transfer a save game and you'll get a message that says "If you transfer this save game you will not be able to gain achievements unless it is played by the original owner" or something like that. Basically it means you wont get achievements unless the person playing the save game is the same gamertag. Which means I cant transfer my save game via memory card and have my friend get the achievements that I have earned automatically.
I'll never understand why somebody would want to cheat to get something as meaningless as a high gamer score.

No, they just black listed certain ones and it would tell you they where corrupt, but if you changed the console ID inside the saved game (using hex edit) to your account ID it made the save legit. Or take the console ID in the games save and change your account ID to it, it would work. But there is an app out there called the "resigner" that changes that in on swift motion.
