Night before last was terrible. I could sign in to the dashboard ok, but as soon as I put a game in, I'd get disconnected from Xbox Live.

I'm still getting disconnected. People I play with are still getting disconnected or can't join games. So unfortunately, yes, shit is still fucking up. And I'd gladly accept that check buddy. It's the thought that counts.

Either my router is dying or xbl is still messed up. First I wasn't getting an IP address, then when I did and ran the connection test it tells me I can't connect to XBL because XBL isn't responding. Well, I popped in Ace Combat and I got an update message.(???) After that I still couldn't log in. I finally did last night only to play one multiplayer round before getting disconnected.

Xbox.com in general takes ages to load up for me, ever since the release of Halo 3, it's been acting up I believe (no pun intended),
Xbox Live has been fine for me, just get the occasional lag with CoD 4 though.

My dashboard pages weren't loading last night and I have no idea why. the music and memory pages were fine, and when i signed out of my name and went to the blank menu, all the settings were there like normal.

There's definitely something fk'd up with xbl right now :/

Yeah, I had the exact same problem lastnight. With all the kids out of school, and a large number of people off of work this week the servers are probably just bogging with the unusually high number of ppl using XBL. Sucks big time :(

Oh, good I thought I had destroyed my 360 for a minute. So this not-loading-your-dashboard-pages thing is a by-product of server overload and not something I did?

I just reset my router and messed with my connections like crazy trying to get it running.

COD 4 has been very slow. Whenever I go to the Multiplayer menu it says "You must have an active connection to play online." I have an active connection, and plus it still lets me play online.

Yeah guys, XBL took a serious shit on itself, and from Xbox Live forums point of view, it may not be fixed until tomorrow or the day after. It could be longer, I don't know.

The problem is I can't get logged into the PSN at all. For the past few days, I get a log in error almost every time I turn on my PS3. All the internet browsing etc. works fine.

Sadly no. This is Microsoft's blunder for trying to appease the ESRB. Parental settings won't affect it, and from some of the comments on Major Nelson's blog you still won't be able to view the content using the Graduation method.

Yeah, since the update, if you don't have Live connect or you are getting crappy connections it locks up the whole 360.

I hope MS takes a hard, long look at how they developed the Dashboard's reliance on a network connection to work correctly. Seems kind of stupid to me that something as trivial as the Games blade can lock up or not load because the system can't degrade gracefully when LIVE runs like crap.

Is it not working good during peak times? Like 3pm est-6pm est. I really have not had any problems in the past 1 1/2 to 2 weeks except for last night when trying to recover my gamertag. I play at 9:30pm est to 11pm Est so maybe im able to play fine because XBL isnt as active.

Yeah. CoD4 matches are pissing me off. I get "getting quality match" then it makes me host with "waiting for 5 people to join" and then no one joins.
