All Games Radio is now in beta!

For a variety of reasons AGR will use Live365! to webcast. We'll see how well it works, it's certainly convenient. Please download the player and add http://www.live365.com/stations/allgamesradio?play to your bookmarks.

The station is running a stream of our old "No Name Radio Show" and other various contributions and songs.

I'm really liking the way Live365 handles broadcasting now. A lot different than from 2000 when I used it the last time.

It's even tempting me to start my own station. I like how you can schedule things to air at certain times, and you don't HAVE to do them "live".

Looks like you can even reschedule "reruns" of the live show.

It doesn't seem to actually play the shows, it plays all the "Live 365" ads and crap but not the actual station :|

I don't get what you mean DeadMan, I didn't get ONE commercial, maybe it's because I told live365 to play on winamp? I don't know but since i've had it foward to my winamp player, I havn't received one commercial.

It will play one or two commercials right when you start the stream, and then jump into whatever song is playing.

To the impatient, that means "all it plays are commercials" because they turn it off after 45 seconds. :>

Hey Scot I know I'm a bit late on this, but what are some of those reasons that AGR is streaming from live365 if we are privy to the insight? I'm excited to hear what you guys bring us. If you play any music you have to play Bloodhound Gang's Mope off of Horray For Boobies, because it has pac man in it ;-) .

Live365 was chosen for ease of setup and ease of archiving. Apulo is working on other things and I figured a turnkey solution would make his life easier. The Raven says you can use winamp so it should be doable for everyone. I have a lot of things brewing and I am committed to radio at least once a week. Unfortunately not tonight.

Sorry, I got a call from G4. Jeremy who has been doing the Madden Challenge reports can't be there for next weeks trips to Atlanta and Jacksonville. They asked me if I can fly in to work both cities. I'm waiting to see if the details can be worked out as it's very soon. No radio today, this weekend for sure, but anything I do will be archived so you can catch it whenever you get online.
