Best Console of 2007?

Yeah, there's no question here really. Microsoft came in swinging with their games lineup this year and always kept me happy. 360 for the win.

The only other system you can really argue for from a software standpoint is the DS and well that's a handheld. :p

This is another hard one. My Wii gets a lot of play in my house... but if i didn't have a full house i don't know if i would say the same thing. When I'm gaming by myself it's always the Xbox controller that I break out.

No no no, games belong to their own categories,
best console is not just measured by the amount of great games it has.
Overall the Nintendo Wii wins this category for me.
I'm a PS3 guy but Nintendo totally showed how they can drive the gaming market.
Nintendo Wii is the fastest selling consoles to date.
Wii has low defect rate too!
Nintendo backs it up with most of its AAA titles like Mario, Zelda, Metroid and all those new types of games like cooking mama, trauma center and lots more,
all of these games in just a year, isn't it amazing.

Yes i know everything about Xbox 360 and PS3, there's just too many faults on them and Nintendo Wii rounds up a complete gaming experience overall and for less money too.

Most variety of good quality games throughout all of 2007.

The Wii is a hot-sella, but the library of games is very limited, especially in terms of quality non-First Pary games.

For me it was the 360. I played it more than any other console. I got a PS3 in June but still only have 3 games for it. I bought 3 games for the 360 in November alone. I've turned on my Wii less than a dozen times in 2007.

360 because it's the one i've played the most. I have both the 360 and ps3 but all i've really played for the ps3 is ninja gaiden sigma and uncharted. Everything else i've played recently has been on the 360.

Even with some strong titles in the latter part of the year on the PS3(Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Ratchet, and the first decent multi-platform game COD4), the XBOX 360 dominated 2007.

360 by a wide margine, although I purchased a Wii for my daughter for Christmas and must admit, I'm having a blast playing with her.

Lets see, a console that my 3 year old loves, my wife who has never played a console since the NES (she was deprived growing up) can play, countless new games as well as many games you can buy for less than $15.00 versus a an internet surfing Blu-Ray player and a motion controlled mini-game machine. Is there really any contest?

No question here, Xbox 360. Considering you can't get a Wii, and the PS3 has no elite titles, how can you justify voting for anything else?

Voted XBOX 360. PS3 is shaping up to be a great console, Wii sells a ton and wins on innovation, the sheer amount of good content on the XBOX360 this year was staggering. The fall releases of COD4, PGR4, Halo 3, Madden 08, Bioshock and Assassin's Creed made buying games a cost-saving adventure. I only hope mine doesn't red ring.... crosses fingers.
