GTA IV getting delayed was my biggest disappointment

Lair, for being a potential system seller and cocking it up in spectacular fashion. Delayed to me means they are trying to get things right instead of rushing out to make a buck.

Smash Bros. because I know a lot of people whose Wiis wouldn't be gathering dust if it had come out. Not that they aren't interested in Super Mario Galaxy, but many owners seem to be putting that off for later for whatever reason.

Assassin's Creed... still a decent game but i should have rented it rather than buy it. I was expecting a lot more from it... it was just to simple and redundant and didn't fill a lot of the promises that was told to us (me).

Assassins Creed - My friend talks about it all the time like it's a godly game. I knew that it seemed mediocre from the beginning when I wasn't impressed with the previews. I never knew what the big hype about it was and the average reviews and my own time with it proved that. Not impressed at all.

SS: Brawl being delayed is a close second, but like others, I want a fresh game, not a suped up SSMB *cough* Halo 3*.

Speaking of which, why isn't that on the list? Def not worth the money people (including myself) put into it.

of course GTA delay!
i had high hopes that my ps3 can get some better sandbox game but no they have to delay it. and now MS put big money so that xbox 360 fans will have to buy extra content and they will be spending more on the game, instead of having the full game experience out of the box.

Lair is a good/great game, if only the developers are not so stubborn and made a patch to enable analog stick dragon control. Give people choices and they will praise you, force unfit things unto them and they will naturally rebel, learn from this factor5/sony.
anyways the lack of gta4 still outweighs this.

I smelled Assassins Creed as an over hyped game from the beginning so im not expecting anything from it.
For me AC is just an HD reincarnation of the Prince of Persia series which is really not a bad thing.

Assassin's Creed, but not for being average. It may get repetitive later on, but I found BioShock to be guilty of this in the last 1/3 also.

Though I also found how they implemented the Assassin in Assassin's Creed pretty stupid. Since when do Assassin's have to fight 30 armed guards to get to an assassination target? Am I playing an Assassin, or a character from Diablo?

I voted for Lair sucking.Games get delayed all the time so i wasn't THAT surprised by GTA.
I originally had high hopes for assasins creed but the reports of it at EA lowered my expectations.

Assassin's Creed. So much potential wasted thanks to immersion breaking stuff such as rescuing someone and then one second later, watching them turn to a corpse you left on the ground after helping them and saying "What has happened here?". Or watching Altair suffer from Attentionitis. Why must the crazies and beggars pick only HIM out of the crowd?

GTA delay sucked big time. I always enjoyed playing through the GTA games during the Fall and Winter. If it comes out while I'm in classes it will suck big time.

I'm pissed about Home being delayed. There were plenty of real games to keep me busy this fall, but home was something different.

Lair didn't interest me
I didn't think MGS was coming out anyway
GTA would have been nice, but Halo, GH3, Rockband CoD4 and Mass Effect kept me plenty busy
I was never interested in Assassins Creed, although Jade Raymond is nice to look at
Nintendo games always get delayed for maximum perfection

A game sucking is always a worse disappointment for me than a game being put off. Because a delayed game can still end up great in the end, whereas a crappy game is bad forever. So, Assassin's Creed.

Everyone is going to post GTA getting delayed but we really expect it. MGS is always getting delayed it's part of it being out there is the delay. Smash Bros hurts but we can play that in March not a big deal. Home's delay is massive because we hear NOTHING. Then the say something and we wait and NOTHING. Then another annoucement is made, time passes and NOTHING. It's a miracle that people got to actually play with the closed beta or we'd think the thing never exsisted except for pictures. Lair doesn't suck, its misunderstood. And Assassin's creed is a good game that is alot better then most games and looks great. So remember this is the biggest disappointment. That is Home being delayed!

Assassins Creed, it was one of the few PS3 games that actually made me consider getting a PS3, and I got pretty excited when I found out it wasn't going to be exclusive, but just like Lair it didn't come close to living up to the hype.
