Podcast through Ventrilo?

One of my friends asked me if it was possible todo a podcast with other people through ventrilo. I told him most likely but I couldnt find a program taht would record the conversation over ventrilo. Is there such thing?

You can set Ventrillo to VOX.

Its not a good idea to use Vent for recording. The codec isn't great and to record both your voice and those on vent is a tad tricky as you can end up getting feedback which is annoying.

Most people use Skype and a 3rd party app to record conversations.

Ventrillo could be used if you could get better audio codecs.

Skype gets pretty bad once you have more than 2-3 people. How do VGO and CAG podcasts do it?

If they're not in the same room, then they all use Skype.

Unfortunately I don't know their exact recording methods.

I know that CAG uses skype but because the two of them are so far apart theres alot of lag, so they both record locally and then CheapyD combines the two recordings.
