I've been catching up on some archive shows, and Dead Pixel Live's rebranding of the Griddlecakes legacy got out of the gate with a dynamic series of fistfights and showdowns, backpedalling and uncomfortable silences, all punctuated with DerrickH's incendiary and provacative refereeing.
My favorite element of the show was when DerrickH, out of nowhere, dropped the Col. Nathan Jessup speech from A Few Good Men, and did it flawlessly by the way, only to tell Jilli0 an hour later that any actor worth their salt has a monologue ready to go, in their back pocket! Zing!
Am I not entertained? Indeed I am.
