Well being in LA has sucked when it comes to being a boston sports fan. But with the Angels and Dodgers both heading into the post season it could be the chance to see a red sox world series game in our back yard. I'll be sure to grab a ticket to the angels series, but I am officially a DODGER FAN NOW, how about a game 7 here in Los Angeles for all the marbles!

Assuming the Sox even make it that far. ;)

The Bambino shall return to put a pox on the sox in the post season.

The AL won the All-Star game. If there is a game 7 in the World Series, it will be in Boston.

How about instead a big "screw you traitor" and we have the game here instead? Heh you want to see game 7 then get off your lazy ass and come back home. Well back East and home to Mass. You know what I mean.

Game 1 goes to the good guys. Curt wasn't very sharp, yet still held Anaheim to 2 ER. Good sign. If our guys are hitting, the Angels have no hope.

Pedro will dominate tomorrow.

I have a plane ticket for a game 7 situation, i doubt I'd be at the paaaahk, but I wouldn't miss the aftermath in boston for anything!

How bout them Braves? 13 Division titles. Now if we can just get the annual blowing it out of the way I can start pulling for the Sox.

This series is OVA. Fucking killed that piece of shit rally monkey. Where was Anaheim's unhittable pen? Probably too busy shoving thundersticks up their asses. Back to Fenway for the sweep!

now for the celbration post. SOX IN 3!!! god that's awesome, even if it was a blown lead, still a nice walk off homer over the monster by Ortiz none the less. And of all people, Derek Lowe got the W.

That was a great game. Slow at first, then it was just on the edge after they tied up.

I think the sox might take it!

Heh leave it to the Red Sox to give all us Massachusetts natives heart attacks though. Damn that really sucked seeing that homer to tie it all up. But if they do keep this up and execute better to not strand to many people on base, then they will be a force to be reckoned with against whoever it is they will face.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Hell no!

Like I said in the other thread, I'm still confident. Petey wins tomorrow, and the Yanks will have trouble getting out of Fenway. This team slaughters at home. Of course, if Curt's really not healthy, that'd be trouble, but certainly not the end of things. It's not like the Yanks have any good starters.

Bleh, even if the Yankees gets past the Red Sox, they'll still get whipped by the Cardinals. That seems to be how it is with me. I don't care who wins as long as it ain't the Yanks. I'm a Braves fan and the 1996 WS killed me.. dead.. and from then forth a flame of hatred doth burn for thy Yankees in my dying heart.

Yep, Bernie came through and railed one out for us. Matsui also did a fine job at bat :)
