Err for your information read past "Kojima has confirmed" on the last bit of the sentence.

I know its Big Boss, and who thinks otherwise is an idiot.

Yes, He confirms it's the same Snake. Naked Snake that is. Who is also Big Boss.

Jack = Big Boss
Big Boss = Naked Snake
Naked Snake = Snake (Short)

Big Boss = Main Character in both of the 2 missions in Snake Eater. Virtuous Rescue and Snake Eater Operations.

Hideo confirmed it's the same Snake (Big Boss). The sentence after saying that OPM is not sure is about when the games starts. (1st mission or 2nd.)

Uh yea? Old news...Besides, if you noticed in MGS, it was said that Snake was born in the late 70's...So, how exactly could it be Snake then? It can't be...Oh and I just thought I would highlight the words "MOST MISSIONS", meaning not every mission.

I meant to say Both.

Lal.

Anyways I know this, But some nubs have been saying (not here) that Solid Snake is in the 2nd mission

Big boss and Snake = Same person. That's completely wrong. Snake is a clone...but not the same person.

You naive little pricks...

You should know better not to trust anything Kojima says.
He always has something up his sleave.

Ever think of time travel?

Haha, You're funny. Considering it's the sixtys, I highly doubt that. Think about it...How could they have a time machine way back then? They don't even have one now...I know the game is still fictional, but it does have a rather near future/belivable concept and story. The only things that really make it fictional, are the bosses.

No no no.
Im saying they sent Solid Snake back to the sixties to put an end to the Metal Gear project before it ever starts. I think it would be a cool plot twist, IMO.

It's a good thing I showed up when I did.

Look. The time travel thing isn't going to happen. It has been confirmed (and laughed at) by Kojima himself. There will be no time travel, and anyone who seriously think we play as Solid Snake has got to be kidding themselves.

Get over it, it's not going to happen.

EDIT: Hey Matrix... Where are my props for finding that picture for you?

Yea, even I knew it wouldn't happen. That's just not possible nor is it even near realistic. Kojima does seem to keep things in rather belivable perspective and time travel in sixties, just isn't even near belivable.

Time travel theory? Come on, watch the new vid on MGS3, you can totally tell Snake is getting some training from The Boss. (And yes the Snake I'm talking about is Big Boss).

I never said it would happen, either. I just thought it would make a neat plot twist, thats all. and that pic is taken from the most recent Playstation Magazine. Page 103.

But why would Snake need to go back in time? To stop Big Boss from making clones of himself?

If so, then Snake would dissapear right there and he would of never happened (Ever seen Back to the Future, where his family starts dissapearing along with him?)

Not necessarily. They would have sent him back to stop the Metal Gear project before it ever happens. Killing Big Boss would do little to change the course of Metal Gear except for the whole FOXHOUND stint.

A little side note, is I think Ocelot looks so badass in this game then any other game.

The way he moves his pistols like that, I haven't seen in MGS2 at all. Well yes I have, but not the coolness and magnitude of MGS3.

And I'm guessing Volgin is his dad? He looks badass too, almost looks like Solidus.

Not necessarily. They would have sent him back to stop the Metal Gear project before it ever happens. Killing Big Boss would do little to change the course of Metal Gear except for the whole FOXHOUND stint.

If he stopped Metal Gear, than what purpose would be cloning Big Boss be then? Maybe Metal Gear has some kind of on board cloning system.

Although in MGS2, Solidus said Big Boss was in his late fifties before they started making clones. So I'm not sure.

LMAO...Even if he did...the whold MGS2 storyline would never exist. End of story.

I find it odd that the third clone, Solidus... is a great deal older than Solid and Liquid.... ._.

But what if it turns out that Big Boss really didnt die before he was cloned? The resembelance is odd, too.

1. Big Boss wasnt dead when he was cloned

2. to respond to somethin someone said earlier Solidus isnt older then Solid or Liquid...he just looks older.

Why exactly would you want that? Finding out about the patriots was so mind blowing. I wouldn't have the story any other way. Without MGS2, the story, probably would have never felt so amazing and deep. In my opinon, it's what really gave Kojima the "god" ranking.

I didnt really mean BEFORE. I meant what if he was cloned, but didnt die. My fault for the wording.

And fuck it. No one is getting what I am trying to say about the whole Time Travel thing. Its not important. I KNOW ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. You people are putting it on me like I seriously believe its going to happen. For fucks sake. I was just saying that it would be a neat plot twist.
