Hey Dead Pixel Live
It's always entertaining when you guys call out to companies, stores, or other people on the phone. (i.e. when you called the library to help Zappy talk to a female librarian) That was hilarious.

How to spot a bad podcast:
1.) Uninspired hosts
2.) Uninteresting takes on topics for fans of genre
How to make a bad podcast better:
- I am assuming here that you feel your show is bad and it needs to be better, if not, please ignore all that follows. I say that as an avid listener and a huge fan of all of you guys, Derrick, Loserly and Alphabox... In the wake of E4all, and the lack of discussion of Raven, I am hating the fake love I gave for him in my iTunes review... that being said:
#1 assist to making a better podcast "Branding" - Give your show a recognizable brand that makes itself memorable in little pieces.
Examples (1): a daily opening sequence that is the same from show to show (followed then by the DPL TV show opening of the day.?)
Examples (2): more "I have hung up on..." maybe not so much, say, per day, but when you do it, nail it
Examples (3): have Loserly play up the anger, though it always seems pretty genuine, it really plays well comically. Maybe more hang-ups on Derrick? His call backs are always funny..
As much as I like the "mystery" of what is DPL going to be from day-to-day, I can only add that I think that the show has only gotten better with the addition of the daily news, Alphabox and the removal of Raven. (a few stable places to go when the show "stops" - as I love the schizophrenic Derrick segments that start the show!)
I would never say that any of you should change your radio personas, but since they are personas... play 'em up more! Should you guys fear offending each other, you can apologize to each other offline. Your banter, to me, is perceived as the best part of the show... it is sometimes friendly, sometimes not, but it's always entertaining.
Regardless, you guys seriously have something special here, so keep up the great work, I really enjoy listening to your crazy show while I am wallowing away at my computer, crunching numbers all day. I wish I could listen live, but oh well... that's life...
