I'm not getting blank cd's until tomorrow, and I can only find one cd-r (eWorks 80 min 700mb) but it has Nintendo Romms and Emulators on it. Is there a way to delete the stuff on there so i can make a cd, or is it possible to just burn right over the stuff?

you can only burn over - delete cd-rw's, not cd-r's.

Yeah. That's why RW's are a little bit more money.
I just buy CD-R's in bulk, cheap. Don't screw around with erasing.

To clarify Inner Logic's point a little bit, you can't burn over -- in the sense that you can overwrite data on a floppy disc. If the CD's session hasn't been closed, you can add more data to it.

I do the same as The Matrix, I buy fuckloads of CD-Rs because they're so cheap and if a CD gets borked, it becomes a drink coaster. As we speak, a fucked up disc containing parts of Windows Service Pack 2 is keeping a Diet Mountain Dew's watery death-grip off of my desk.

I got tired of all those silver CD-R's as coasters, now i just have really bad cd's :P... like a... global village "teleport 56k" disc... but anyway
You can't erase whats already been burned, but if you didn't "finalize" the CD then you can add to it, most CD burning programs require a box to be checked to finalize it, so if theres only like 278mb of stuff on it, you can probably just burn the rest of the crap you want to right to it after the current stuff....
