I'm more of a pastry chef than I am a true cook.
Some people that know me well know I was accepted to a culinary school pastry program before I decided to do the retail management thing :)

I don't know if I'd call myself a chef to any considerable degree. I do love making food, though.
Last night's dinner was a chicken cacciatori with ricotta, oregano, and garlic mix wrapped inside chicken breast, breaded and seared, then baked in a casserole dish with tomato sauce and mozzarella. Sauteed asparagas, green onions, green and red peppers and mushrooms and freshly baked rolls.
Tonight will be brazed and grilled pork ribs using Alton Brown's rub and recipe (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_11125,00.html). Wonderful, wonderful ribs!
Since salmon is on special this week, I'll be making that on the grill again.

Can't do a damn thing in the kitchen.
But when it comes to grilling, I've got a natural gift.
And I'm not one of those "only charcoal" or "only gas" types, either. I've got my charcoal Weber sitting two feet away from our gas grill, and use them both regularly, depending on what's on the menu.

I can make anything that comes in a box, is frozen, or can be cooked on the foreman. Thank god for the foreman.

I can make....toast. Even then my mom says I make it to dark. I like it though.
Lets just say that I wouldn't starve if I were to marry a woman who didn't cook lol. I can cook more things that my sister can and I can also bake a cake and make homemade cookies! lol Though Frozen pizzas and Pankcakes on a stick can go a long way! haha.
I'm well known in my family for my Tuna, Grilled onion cheeseburgers and I'm said to make the best pitcher of Kool-Aid! lol :-D

Haha, I think not. I don't cook on the regular, just saying that I can manage on my own if I have to. My future wife will have to know how to cook somehow, I don't need a buffet, just something to fill my belly.

Well why don't you cook then? I mean i don't get all this my wife better know how to cool crap. This isn't the 1950s you know where the wife does all the house work and is only there to raise the kids and the guy goes out to work. I would like to think we would have grown up or evolved if you will, since then. Personally I can't really cook at all but I would have no problem learning how even if I did get married to a woman who was an awsome cook.
