View Full Version : Until you have seen or heard Lewis Black. I don't trust you.
The man is simply put. A god. I got Rules of Engagement and White Album.
He is both my idol and the only man you will ever see me quote in discussions. Find this man on comedy central or pick up one of his CDs. If you don't laugh you have no soul and GTFO the internet.

Ya, he always seems to find something stupid in the world and exploit it.

He was on the Daily show last night. Talking about how the Ballon lobby has the Republicans and Democrats by the nuts and it isn't afriad to twist
Is he the guy that does the muffler commercials?

He does muffler commercials? I thought it was Steve Colbar that did them for Good Wrench?
Anyway I have only seen Black once on the Daily Show. I don't usually watch it for some reason even though its funny as hell. It was the one where he was complaining about that spelling b championship and how the kid fainted. Heh I really liked his hockey rant to about a Florida team winning.

I remember back when GTA3 came out, Black gave a review of it on the Daily Show.
"What's the point of this game? Who cares! I'm too busy hitting an old lady with a bat!"

Kudos to you Rayo. Mr. Black is a genius. My favorite special of his is Black on Broadway. Red, White, and Screwed was ok, but I guess I prefer hearing Black's comments on simple life things rather than what he has to say about politics.
I know this is an old thread, but I didn't feel like creating a new one.

Hooray to thread necromancy?
I guess I missed this thread the first time because I forgot to mention I did get to see him live when he performed at my college for a summer theater event. Not only was he hilarious as usual, he was quite supportive of the other young talent performing there. So he came across as a pretty nice guy, actually..

this man rules.
every show i've seen of him was awesome, and he tells it like it is without being a complete failure.
i'm amazed i didn't catch this thread the first time around though.

Yeah that's what I've read; just a polar opposite of his on-stage persona.

He came to UMBC this past September, and he was pretty good. He wasn't the greatest comedian I've ever seen, but he had some funny ass bits in there.
Personally, I liked when the Capitol Steps came to UMBC. They were more ingenius than Lewis Black. :X

Lewis Black is one of my favorite comedians. My favorite quote is "If it wasn't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college." Good luck on figuring that one out.

I didn't watch that many shows when I did have cable. Even less now that I canceled it.

"MTV is to music, what KFC is to chicken......"
That was the moment Lewis Black became one of my all time favorites.
