Some say its just Madden with college teams. What do YOU say

Im just getting it to tide me over till Madden. Either way im buying NCAA, NFL 2k5, and Madden.

The early versions for PS2 seemed like they were the previous year's Madden game but with college teams and recruiting. Now it seems more like its own game. The recruiting is one of the most entertaining things in a sports game I've ever experienced. I love making a school and builing them up and redshirting player and finding prospects. It's almost like and RPG football game.

Well, They both do different things gameplay and feature wise, so although it does use the same graphics engine, and the same controls, they both have things that make them unique and IMO, NCAA has better features. Then again, the Madden team thinks they rule, so they just sit there complementing themselves all day instead of making progress on anything. :)

SI covers were the coolest addition to NCAA.

I would say, "Have you ever play NCAA then Madden a hour later?" NCAA is a lot slower, the QBs aren't us good, or throw the ball us hard. The people who say NCAA is just a college ver of Madden don't know football games.

NCAA has actually overtaken Madden for me. I love the experience of the college game and NCAA captures it pretty well.

I think they are very different games. For me in Madden I can real "feel" like I wore a team out and ran them into the ground. NCAA I never get that physical feel. However NCAA is so much damn fun, probably because of all the different teams you can play against. It's like a party, all the celebrations, all the fight songs, and the WRs looking back for the ball is by far my favorite thing ever in a sports game.
