I think I've bored everyone to tears with the Katamari Damacy/Jet Set Radio/Gitaroo-Man/Beatmania IIDX/Halo 2 soundtracks that I have in my collection, so let me know what gamemusic you'd like to hear on the prestream and during the upcoming episodes of the Bobby Blackwolf Show.
And BTW, it's being permanently moved to Thursdays at 10PM, because more people can listen at that time. :>

Heh a few hours, half an hour whats the difference?
Anyway my suggestions are the Hitman 2 soundtrack. It has awsome songs especially my favorite 47 Makes a Desicion which I have if you want it. Also Super Mario 64 had good songs of course. Then another good one is Raziel's Theme from Soul Reaver. I think I have an extended version or something that 5:09(minutes) but it can be found at a shorter length at places like LimeWire.
Then for none video game music there is the Lexx music from the credits if anyone knows what that show is. I don't have the song but if you go to www.lexx.com (http://www.lexx.com) you can here it. I don't know what thats called so I haven't been able to find it, but its good. And lastyl one I have which is really cool and good for this time of year is Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12-24). I forget what Christmas song its based off of for some reason right now but its like an elctric guitar version which sounds great. Well there are my suggestions, I'm sure I'll have more over the next week.
BTW, how come the show is only an hour long?

i would love to see some stuff from No One Lives forever, but they didnt release a soundtrack. fuck.
how about some great licensed music?
edit: i just remembered, i have all the music from Half-Life 1 (its all from Steam)
so if you want some of them, ask. they're more moody than the other stuff, but they kick ass.
Example 1: Extended Valve opening (http://up1.fastuploads.com/half-life13.mp3)
Example 2: Transit System (http://uploaded.fastuploads.info/prospero01.mp3)

I'd rather not do licensed music. Just because Welcome To The Jungle appears in the GTA:SA soundtrack doesn't mean it belongs on a gamemusic show.
Thanks for the suggestions, keep em coming.

Any of the Panzer Draoon music
Any of the Sonic music
NiGHTS has some pretty good songs on it too.
The MGS series has pretty good upbeat music.
Max Payne has some good stuff...although a bunch is just ambient, or too short.
I enjoyed some of the stuff from the Gunvalkyrie soundtrack...
Shenmue!

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't the rock songs on the Halo 2 soundtrack licensed?

No.
They were created specifically for Halo 2. They even use the theme. (Just because it uses guitars and has people singing doesn't mean it's licensed.)
Welcome To The Jungle wasn't created specifically for GTA: San Andreas.

To steal from Music's post for a second(sorry), for the record Jesper Kyd is the same guy who did the Hitman 2 music I have been pushing for. :D

You probably won't hear any of the stuff tonight unless I get extremely lucky. I've been a little busy over the past week (and no, not because of EQ2 unfortunately) so I haven't been able to track down as much as I wish. But I will still endeavor to get them.
The good news is, though, I ripped some more of my gamemusic CD's so I'll have a different selection. One of the CD's that I forgot I had was an old CD from the late 80's by Mark Seibert, the lead composer for the old Sierra adventure games. He went into the studio and did a professional recording of songs from the old King's Quest, Police Quest, and Quest For Glory games and put them out on a CD. (The CD also includes the craptacular "Top 40" love song for King's Quest VI that they wanted to get on radio stations around the country. It sucks, you won't hear it on my show unless you guys piss me off.)

Speaking of Sierra games, is it possible to get the music from them? I don't think I saw it anywhere online, through AltaVista at least, but I was trying to find the music from Pharaoh. It just sounds so much like Ancient Egyptian music for some reason. Heh even though I wasn't around at that point in time. Either way its still fun to listen to when playing the game.
