I am currently playing an "imported" English version of The Minish Cap.
So far this is one of the best 2-D Zelda games ever. It's like Capcomtook the amazing Seasons/Ages games and made them better... wait that is exactly what they did.
Flagship should be in charge of all future 2-D Zelda titles, because they know what they are doing.
Have you played the "import" yet?
What are other opinions on the game?

I started playing it a couple days ago and am almost finished. Its very easy for a Zelda game. And I see that only as a good thing.
Unfortunately, it seemed very short for a Zelda game. The amount of time its taken me to get most hearts (missing 3 pieces), and still have a lot of Kinstones left over, is relatively the same to what it would take me to finish all of Link to the Past. Unfortunately, there are only what ... 5-6 dungeons? Sparse compared to older 2D games.
I never got around to playing Seasons/Ages, so I can't compare it to this. Regardless, still worth the cost of the game.

As long as it's a good game, I will get it. :)

Speaking as someone who doesn't have to get it on import I really like this game although I found some of the puzzles a little tricky.

Yeah, it looks like a little lame for Zelda...sometimes the game seems sweet (the new GCN one). And the other one seems superbly lame. They need to have sweet stories and pretty graphics. And shortness makes it terrible.

Well this is one of the most fun 2-D Zelda's, and rivals the top handheald spot from "Links Awaking", but falls just short.

Minish cap is very very good. It is short. But all Zelda games have seemed to short to me. I think thats one reason why they made Twilight Princess so long.
All the same I hope to god we'll see a sequel come out as quickly as Majoras Mask did.

it's like the english version of electroplankton, it's just really hard to find.
a bunch of friends brought it up after twilight princess came out, and were going "O GOD THAT GAME RULED I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DON'T HAVE IT" so i've been trying to dig it up somewhere.

it doesn't even come up on a EB games search. I hate how Nintendo limits titles like that. It's like trying to find a new copy of Mario Party 4 or 5.

I got it when it came out, like all the other Zelda games. Didn't like it as much as the GB/GBC offerings...great game, but not close to being my favorite Zelda game.
I thought Elzo could get pretty annoying at times

look harder dude. it shouldn't be very hard at all, to find a copy...just stay away from e-bay and half for your GBA games.
