For anyone who wants to get the PSP, lol. I don't know if this is true or not, but this guy has a few of these auctions going.

It is true. But it's not as great as you think.

He will get your money, and then go to Akihabara when the PSP comes out and try to get you what you want. (Hence why he's giving you a "choice" of the game that he sends with it.)

There's no guarantee that he'll get your PSP, if you win, on launch day...

Seriously...Just wait and get a PSP for alot cheaper. I think people are stupid bidding so much on something that's not even nearly that expensive.

Yeah, I have to agree. Especially with these DS's going for $200-220 on ebay. With a little patience and some luck (Like I did, when I walked into Gamers Paradise and they had 4 DS's) you can get a DS for alot cheaper.

Wow. That's...interesting. I mean, why bother doing that? That's about $200 more expensive than the PSP will actually be when it's released next year. And to top it off, you only get 1 game, anyway. I wouldn't trust that, at all.

I noticed the guy is in Tokyo. Is the PSP out in Japan?

Well you are getting to play it months earlier and in time for Christmas...you could be the envy of your block. ALSO the seller said he would buy ANY game for you at Retail price...meaning you could buy many more than one game.

No, it's not coming out until December 12th.

The auction is basically paying him to go buy you a PSP on the 12th and send it to you. :>

I geuss thats a good deal if you understood Japanese. That whole region free thing sounds fishy to me.

why? if i had $500, i would do that in a second.

if only for the ownage factor of waving the thing in my friends faces.

then again, i would never have $500 at one time. so its just a thought..

For the US price of the PSP, you're not going to see it here cheaper than $250, the reason why the retail is so low in Japan ($199, I believe, when converted), is because the economy is drastically different, same with the video game market.

yeah, a japanesse one. So you'll have no idea whats going on. I guess it would be kinda cool for bragging rights even if you have no clue whats going on or how to make the thing work.
