Anyway a few months ago I had a customer(I work at Barnes & Noble for those who don't know) say that this book and the series are really good so I just picked up this one a few days ago. I haven't started it yet as I have been busy playing a lot of games and am being lazy by not reading at the moment, heh I still have the Han Solo Adventures to finish which I bought nearly 2 months ago, so I just wanted to find out if anyone had read it and is it really that good? Its by C.S. Friedman and the guy said it was really good and that since I like The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan I should like this. I certainly hope so since it would be nice to expand my Sci-Fi/Fantasy reading list to beyond 2 series. So anyone who has read it or heard anything of it just post it here. Thanks. :)

Thanks. :)I remember Friedman as fairly pedestrian, not bad, but didn't wow me either. The only other writer besides Jordan that blew me away was Tad Williams with his Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn trilogy. You might want to check him out. First book in the series is The Dragonbone Chair. :smt023 :smt023
